Jeremy Bennett, 28, a second-grade teacher at Sallas Mahone Elementary School in Valdosta, Georgia has been arrested on two counts of sexual battery against two 7-year-old female students.
The warrant charges Bennett with felony sexual battery on allegations that he touched the buttocks of two seven-year-old girls.
Bennett turned himself into police after a warrant was issued for his arrest and was subsequently released on $25,000 bail.
Bennett who has reportedly worked for the school for three years was placed on unpaid suspension from his job.
05/12/08 - Not Guilty!
After nearly three hours of deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty on all counts in the trial of Jeremy Bennett.
Bennett’s attorney said the deciding factor in the outcome of the case was the 24 character witnesses testifying in Bennett’s behalf and the state’s theory of the case that the inappropriate touching occurred in his classroom in front of 17 other students just did not make sense.

Actually from reading what the man’s attorney said they found him NG based on “character” witnesses which in no way means he did or did not do this. And from what I can tell about this site the Guilty rate is 96%-99% of those featured on here. Not to mention they publish when someone is found NG which makes it no different than what the media in general does. I would say the problem is not with the site but with you Anonymous. 96-99% accuracy rate shows they are right on the money.

Wow! Good for this man. I’m sure the Webmaster of this site is disappointed that they couldn’t add this man’s good name to the hall of shame. Just adding his name to this site further buries him because of the search engines bringing up this despicable site when his name is searched. Further evidence that this is a site to ridicule the accused and allow people trash the character and pass judgment on the accused, but when there is any negative comments about the accusers, BBT must protect them at all costs. While the accusers get a free pass, the accused has to try and pick up the pieces of their life, and the fact that you, Webmaster, added this to your joke of a website, further shows your bias towards bashing the accused, even when they were found not guilty, despite your holier than though claim that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. That is a load of garbage, and this proves that the only thing this website exists for is to drag the names of people accused of these crimes through the mud. Not all of these allegations are true, but BBT wants to make it appear that EVERYTHING on this site is factual and all persons are guilty. I wish nothing but the best to Mr. Bennett and I hope he can pick up the pieces and get his life back in order, but no thanks to this site for that!
