(05/9/09 – Initial BadBadTeacher.com Report)
Jenson Eugene Seifert, 25, a teacher and coach at Birchwood Christian School in Anchorage, Alaska has been arrested on allegations of sexually abusing a 14-year-old male student.

Seifert is reportedly charged with 14 felony counts of sexual abuse of a minor.
Seifert came to the attention of police on Friday when the victim’s mother reported that her son had become withdrawn from Seifert and that Seifert appeared to become controlling of her son.
It is alleged that the boy told investigators that Seifert had repeatedly molested him, including on a youth trip to Alyeska Resort. It is alleged that the sexual abuse began in August of last year and continued until the boy told his Mom of the alleged crimes.
Following his arrest, Jenson Seifert was being held in the Anchorage jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Police are concerned over the possibility there might be other victims. Investigators request that if there are other victims or if parents suspect their children might have been victimized that they call Anchorage Police at 786-8900.

I went to elementary school and high school with Jenson, and he was the last person I’d ever think would do this. I guess the first step is admitting it, but I’ve always heard you can’t ever cure a child molester. Hopefully justice will be served in this case. Though I’m not a religious person by all means, but i really hope the victim won’t lose his faith because one of “God’s soldiers” took advantage of him in the worst way. Doesn’t the bible teach “bless the beasts and the children?”
He admitted to it – don’t defend the guilty – the victim is the one hurting!
I as well have known jenson since i was about 13, im 19 now, and am in great shock. i personally have never even thought jenson would be like this. He was my councilor at North Star Bible Camp and was such a great guy, never once tried to touch anyone in a innopropriate manner. There are cases all around the world just like these, half the time they are true, half the time they ARE NOT. but to those sick individuals, you diserve to be put behind bars for years.
I’ve known Jenson for years. The only person who feels worst than him…is the victim. So, pray for the victim. Pray for both families. And remember: no man’s sin is any more scarlet than the next.
I would have never of thought Jenson to do this. I knew him very well. I attended Hodos youth group where he was a leader there. I just can’t believe you would do that Jenson, I’m still in Shock…
