Jeffrey W. Foster Indicted

Jeffrey W. Foster, of Norris, Tennessee and a former assistant volleyball coach at Anderson County High School in Clinton, Tennessee has been indicted by a grand jury on three counts of statutory rape of a then 17-year-old female volleyball player.

The alleged crimes occurred in 2003.

The investigation of Foster began in January of this year and he was released from his duties by the school system in February.

Following his arrest Foster was held in the Anderson County Jail on $10,000 bond.

He is scheduled for arraignment on June 29th.

Clinton, TN Attorney Roger L. Ridenour has leveled accusations that school officials knew about Foster’s improper relationship with a high school player and did nothing about it.
