Jeffrey W. Foster Guilty
Posted by: Webmaster in Coaches, Hall of Shame, High Schools, ME-FV, TennesseeJeffrey W. Foster, 40, a former volleyball coach at Anderson County High School, in Clinton, Tennessee has pleaded guilty to two counts of statutory rape for having a sexual relationship with a female student.

Foster admitted he had sex with the victim, then 17, in 2003. The girl was a member of the high school volleyball team. The victim, now 21, came forward early this year saying “she wanted the public to know”.
Foster was sentenced to two years in prison on each count with the sentences running concurrently and suspended. Foster was placed on unsupervised probation. As part of his probation Foster was ordered to pay the victim $15,000 in restitution and to pay court costs and fines totaling $2,451.50.
In addition to the probation, Foster was also prohibited from having any unsupervised contact with children and not to coach for any youth sports teams in either a paid or unpaid position during the term of his probation.
According to the referenced news report it does not appear that Foster will be required to register as a sex offender.
