Jeffrey Anderson Guilty

Jeffrey Anderson, 23, of Northeast Philadelphia, a substitute teacher at Tohickon Middle School in Plumstead Township has pleaded guilty to having sexual contact with two female students of Tohickon Middle School. The girls were 14 and 15-years-old.

Anderson was scheduled for trial yesterday but entered a guilty plea last week.

Anderson was arrested in May and charged with various crimes including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, and criminal use of communications devices.

The parents of the girls discovered the illegal activities using software that monitored their daughters’ computers.

Anderson who is free on $500,000 bond will be sentenced at a later date after a Megan’s Law evaluation is completed to determine if he should be considered a sexually violent predator. If determined to be a sexually violent predator, Anderson will be subject to neighborhood notification and forced to register with police for the rest of his life.

Anderson faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison.
