Jason P. Beaudry, a teacher Chicopee Comprehensive High School in Chicopee, Massachusetts has reportedly been arrested and charged with accosting and annoying a member of the opposite sex, 2 counts of obscene matter to minors and witness intimidation.
Beaudry was arrested around 2:00p.m. Monday and is expected to be arraigned Tuesday.
Reportedly Beaudry has been suspended indefinitely.
02/03/09 – Case Update
A police department spokesperson says that Beaudry initially came to the attention of authorities when students at the school approached the school resource officer with complaints.
prosecutors alleged Beaudry asked three students under the age of 16 if they wanted to see pictures of his cat in January. When the students scrolled through pictures on his phone, the students said they saw a picture of Beaudry’s penis.
Reportedly Beauydry will be released on $2,000 cash bail and $20,000 surety on Wednesday.
Media reports indicate that Beaudry has been placed on unpaid administrative leave while police and school officials investigate the allegations.
MassLive.com quotes Beaudry’s attorney as saying:
There is no allegation of sexual assault here. He (Beaudry) let female students look at his cell phone to see pictures of his cat and they scrolled through the photos on the phone and came across other images that clearly he did not intend to them see. They were inappropriate.
Beaudry was arraigned today in Chicopee District Court.
He pleaded innocent to all charges.
Beaudry’s next court date is March 10 for a pretrial conference.
02/07/09 – Case Update
Jason P. Beaudry has reportedly resigned as a teacher at Comprehensive High School, effective on Friday.
Reportedly Beaudry submitted his resignation in a letter delivered to school administration headquarters on Wednesday by a regional representative of the Massachusetts Teachers Association.

i had mr .b as a teacher for 2 years and he was a great teacher and good friend thish whole story was blown up beyond beliefe look at the female teacher in hoyloke 3 times as bad but half the punishment i think he should of handeled the sittuwation diffrently but hes still a good guy
hes not a pervert or a sex offender.. honestly he was the only teacher i ever listened to or did well w. and its funny that the laid back teacher gets in all this b.s. trouble for these kids looking through his phone they took advantage by taking it upon themselves to look through his phone.. i no how beaudry is honestly inside and outside of school because after i graduated i needed some help w math to pass a test.. and never has he ever given me reason to believe he is a pervert.. i was not there to witness wat happened but honestly i can probably bet the girls were chatting and giggling together and went through his phone without his permission.. i have nude pics on my phone too of myself.. im sure theres a lot of people that do.. who cares hes human.. and has a sex life and a girlfriend.. why the hell is all this crap put on him thers no way he was like oh hey scroll through my pics and look at my penis.. he had an amazing objective as a teacher and that was breaking it down to our level and teaching us in a way that wed learn and enjoy wat were learning as well.. this whole thing is awful and blown way out of proportion.. and why are these girls being investigated for going through personal property.. and theese girrls should feel like serious crap for putting him through all this b.s. when they no that wasnt for them to see. honestly i say karmas a B and it will come back to bite them in the u no wat.. and honestly i feel so bad for him and give him all the support.. and if u idiots that know him really think he was showing a 15 year old his penis ur stupid. lets be smart if he was going to do that wouldnt he pick seniors?? smartn the F up .. and for the lady who says o what if it was ur daughter seeing this o big f’n deal if u have a computer and or has a myspace im sure shes seen more.. way more in way more derogatory forms.. seriously its a penis.. im sure shes having sex n e ways considering the age of like 13 is when the lose it.. seriously get it together people it wasnt intentional and its a friken penis who caers! its not like he was waving it around and giving out free rides. u guys r pathetic!
Has no one else read the other charges? It isn’t just about the girls scrolling through his phone. He purposely showed colleges those pictures and harassed other students as well. As a teacher there is a line you don’t cross, no matter how nice of a guy you are or how good friends you are with your students, and he crossed it. End of story.
i think this is all wrong .. things are being blown out of proportion. mr. beaudry was my teacher for freshman to junior year. and he definetly didnt intentionally show them these pictures.. yes it was wrong for them to see but they also didnt have to scroll through the photos. it is a big part on him for handing the phone to the girls but please be serious he never said scroll through and look at them all. yes he should of been more carefull but people make mistakes and thats what he did.. you cant hate him for that.. everyone makes mistakes. so get real.. people act like as if he is the only person that messed up. i feel sorry that he is being treated like this i feel that its the girls faults to for even scrolling through the pictures. so i feel bad. he doesnt deserve to be treated this bad. i love you mr B.
