Jaime Bush Schneider, 42, band director at Timberview Middle School in Colorado Springs, Colorado has been arrested on allegations that he distributed child pornography.
Schneider was reportedly charged with sexual exploitation of children.
Schneider came to the attention of Colorado Springs Police by way of a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children accusing Schneider of posting sexually exploitative images of children in an online forum.
The police department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents in following up on the tip and executed a search warrant at Schneider’s home, seizing a computer.
A police department statement indicated, “”Evidence consistent with the distribution of sexually exploitative images of children was recovered during the search.”
Following his arrest, Schneider was reportedly being held in the El Paso County Jail.
Schneider is the second Colorado Springs resident arrested on child pornography allegations this week.

Jaime Schneider, who reportedly had been employed at Timberview since 2001, resigned from the school system on Wednesday.
