(U.S.) Three former administrators in the Urbana, Illinois school district, including the district’s former superintendent, now face criminal charges related to a sex abuse scandal at their school. (U.K.) An inquest has heard that Adrian Wolfson, 35, a teacher for 12 years at Deansfield Primary School in Eltham, South London took his own life by throwing himself off high cliffs on February 27 this year. Link
(N.Z.) Tihirau Shepherd, a suspended principal who is out on bail while awaiting serious sex charges has been helping out at another school. (U.S.) Correspondence released Wednesday by lawyers of an alleged sexual abuse victim and two priests suggest Catholic leaders knew years ago about allegations against the Rev. Dennis Killion, a former priest and teacher at a Wilmngton, Del., high school, who continued to work at other schools, including Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers. Link
