It is only obvious that this “teacher” was only playing. Why else would he go out of his way to buy a box of toys for this lonesome, little girl? He only wanted to be her friend and play post office.

It doesn’t take a hell of a lot of brains to figure out what this guy had up her sleeve.

Oh wow John Q – that is just brilliant. Yes, let’s start investigating and punish the teenage victims! Fantastic.

Teenagers are prone to make bad choices. Teenagers are capricious. Teenagers lack the life experience and maturity to make the best decisions when it comes to sex. THAT IS WHY WE HAVE LAWS TO PROTECT THEM! I can’t believe this simple and obvious concept is so clearly lost on you.

Don’t you dare criticize these girls for not immediately rushing to report this. You clearly do not understand the complex psychological issues that accompany this kind of crime. Any mental health professional with experience in these cases will tell you that it is in fact the NORM for victims to not come forward immediately – on many occasions it is several YEARS later. If you do not understand how and why this happens, I suggest you get an education. DO NOT use your ignorance as a basis for attacking CHILDREN who are clearly victims of a man who blatantly abused his position of authority.

You “seriously doubt” it’s not true? His CONFESSION to the police about buying the girl sex toys and underwear and engaging in sexual conversations with her means nothing to you? Somehow, I’m not surprised.

One question: who gets to keep the sex toys?

if we’re going to scrutinize George and his family, let’s examine the role of the girls and their parents, too. if these allegations are true, which I highly doubt, are we to believe that this innocent little victim of George Turner didn’t know she was repeatedly the victim of statutory rape for three months until coming forward? She needed her friend, a picture-perfect alibi, to tell her what he was doing was illegal? It took three months and several encounters — inside and outside of school — for her to decide that she was being raped? Well, at least she found another victim to back-up the story. On a similar note: the parents have decided to sue the Turner family and possibly the school for the pain and suffering their traumatized daughter endured during those 3 excruciating months. Well thank god they’ll be compensated.
