George Christ Johnson, 50, a former first-grade teacher at Wakelon Elementary School in Zebulon, North Carolina has reportedly been arrested on allegations of inappropriate contact with a 7-year-old female student.

Johnson has reportedly been charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties by a teacher and two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child.

Johnson came to the attention of police when the father of the alleged victim contacted school administrators who in turn called police. Reportedly, the allegations involve two incidents of improper contact which allegedly occurred on May 8 at the school.

Johnson, who started work for the school system in 2007, was placed on paid administrative leave while the investigation proceeded and subsequently resigned his job on June 12th.

Johnson turned himself in to police yesterday and was taken to the Wake County Jail where he was held in lieu of $70,000 bail.

    The evidence hasn’t been revealed, but I have a strong feeling that this Christ will soon be crucified.
