Gene R. Clemetson, 43, a former music teacher at Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey has been arrested on charges that he was sexually involved with one of his female students.
Clemetson has been charged with second-degree sexual assault and endangerment of the welfare of a child for an alleged sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student.
Clemetson came to the attention of authorities when the girl told a counselor with a youth services program that she was involved with “an older man”. Subsequently the girl told the counselor that the relationship was with a teacher. The counselor reported the matter to the state Department of Youth and Family Services which referred the matter back to local police.
Clemetson is being held in the Passaic County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail with no ten percent provision.

First Maria, it should be facts not fax. And based on the deleted adjective that was deleted from you comment, I would guess you are another of the the subjects former high school students. Secondly the charges were technically “dismissed”. There was no trial so he was not cleared. Fact is that any NJ teacher who is involved with someone under the age of 18 is subject to charges. Should the minor involved resend her comments or refuse to cooperate, that would cause the prosecuting attorney to not have a case. However, where are these two individuals today? The answer to that question would speak to the true guilt of innocence of this individual.

Check your fax. there has been no indictment and he has been cleared of all charges, so it’s time for you to take this (Deleted by site moderator) off your site!
