Gary Wade

Gary Wade, a teacher’s aide at Steele Elementary School in Denver, Colorado, has been arrested on a complaint of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.

Reportedly Wade came to the attention of authorities when someone contacted school faculty with allegations that Wade had done something inappropriate with a student.

The school then contacted police and an investigation was initiated. Wade was arrested five days later.

A letter which Steele Elementary Principal Katherine Pullen sent home to parents indicated that the arrest was for “alleged sexual assaults on students.”

Following his arrest, Wade was reportedly released on bond.

    It should be noted (see attached link from website) that Gary Wade is the ALLEGED assaulter. I concur with the article that Mr. Wade is a kind and loving man, and that the charges are surprising - but of course the same has been said many times before. The accusers (yes, there are more than one involved) approached together. I personally have NO idea which party is correct, but I do have doubts on both sides. The Truth always emerges, and there will always be at least one loser. I’m sad (I have daughters at the school too), and have never ever worried about Mr. Wade before. Besides, in his role at the school I would have thought most all his contacts would be public and open in nature. Perhaps allegedlybadbadteacher.com would be more appropriate at this time. Trials are not held in the court of public opinion, and for good reason.
