(01/15/09 – Initial BadBadTeacher.com Report)
Frank Mattiace, 72, the former principal of the now-defunct Bayley-Ellard High School in Madison, New Jersey has pleaded guilty to charges alleging that he touched a male student’s buttocks during a hug and shoved a teacher and warned the man not to report the offensive touching.

Mattiace pleaded guilty in state Superior Court to a general charge of abuse and neglect of a child.
Reportedly Mattiace also admitted that he shoved a teacher and told the instructor that he wouldn’t be allowed to participate in extracurricular activities if he reported it.
As part of the plea deal the prosecutor agreed to recommended a sentence of five years’ probation, up to 364 days in the county jail, and completion of a psychosexual evaluation.
The alleged victims have consented to the plea bargain, because they want the case that has dragged on for years to finally end.
Bayley-Ellard High School reportedly ceased operation in 2005.
05/05/09 – Sentencing
Frank Mattiace was sentenced Tuesday to four years’ probation and 100 hours of community service as a result of his earlier guilty plea to fourth-degree charges of abuse and neglect of a child and criminal coercion.

Guy G – what about the teacher who backs up the student’s story? You know, the one that Frank pushed and then threatened? Is he a drug addict too? Has he been kicked out of 3 schools? Nope, he hasn’t.
I know Frank Mattiace and he is a good man! This kid is a major trouble maker and has been kicked out of 3 schools and has been arrested for major drug offenses! Ask any of his other students and they love him! This was a railroad job!
