(05/15/08 - Initial BBT Report)
Fernando Gonzalez, 34, a math teacher at North Shore High School in Galena Park, Texas has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.
Gonzalez came to the attention of police when students allegedly saw Gonzales watching porn on a computer at his desk and masturbating in an empty classroom. It is reported that the students saw the incident through the windows of the classroom door.
The students reported the incident to school administrators who confronted Gonzalez, suspended him, escorted him off school property and notified police.
During the course of the investigation police found two computers in his classroom, one of which belongs to the school and one of which was “unauthorized”. Allegedly both contained child pornography. Police also claim they found several computer disks containing child pornography.
Police also seized two computers from the Gonzalez home.
Gonzalez, who has been with Galena Park ISD for 10 years, was suspended with pay and told not to return to the school campus.
Police say that after he was arrested, a very “embarrassed and ashamed” Gonzalez confessed.
05/16/08 - Gonzalez Fired
Fernando Gonzalez has now been fired and the school district is asking the state to revoke his teaching certificate.

OMG I CANT BELIVE WHAT HAPPENED TO MY ALGEBRA TEACHER!HE WAS NICE BUT I THOUGHT HE WAS SMATER THAN THAT AS ONE OF HIS STUDENTS I REALLY HOPE I WAS PASSING HIS CLASS FORREAL AND NOT BECAUSE HE LIKED ME OR SOMETHING WELL HOPE HE LEARNED HIS LESSON

omg i cant belive that happened to MY algebra teacher he used always close my books when i was trying to read and he was kinda mean na he was cool but damn well he should have waited till he got to the car or at home whata dumn ass well in case he reads this this is not wh you think this is na you prolly got it right but wateva and by the way i passed the taks test so …catch ya l8r

I am a student at NorthShore High School and I was shocked when I first heard this. We WILL never expect that to happen
