Donna Lou Sanders, 46, a special education teacher at Magnolia Junior High School in Magnolia, Arkansas has been arrested on allegations that she rented motel rooms for a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl to have sex with others.
Sanders has been arrested on 12 counts of permitting abuse of a minor and 12 counts of accomplice to rape.
Following her arrest Sanders was being held in the Columbia County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
It is alleged that Sanders rented motel rooms in El Dorado for the girls, left them overnight, and returned the next day and picked them up.
It is further alleged that Sanders provided alcoholic beverages to the juveniles.
Police say that the incidents took place over a seven month period beginning in September.
Sanders resigned her job on the day of her arrest.
She has allegedly confessed to investigators.
KSLA is reporting that according to an affidavit in the case that Sanders would drive the 12 and 13 year old girls to either a hotel or deer camp and provide rooms for them to have sex with two underage boys and a 22 year old man they met on line through Facebook.
KSLA is also reporting the affidavit also says one of the alleged victims in this case was Donna Lou Sanders own teenage daughter and that Sanders sometimes just drove the teens around and permitted them to have sex in the back seat of the car as she drove.
04/28/08 - Additional Info
Sanders was released on $100,000 bond on Friday.
Her husband, Magnolia High School assistant principal Terry Sanders, has reportedly told investigators that he was unaware of his wife’s alleged illicit activities until two days before her arrest and that when he asked his wife, she admitted that the allegations were true.
Reportedly Donna Sanders is being treated at a private mental health facility.
04/29/08 - Official Charges
Donna Sanders has been official charged with two counts of accomplice to rape, four counts of third-degree sexual assault, and six counts of permitting abuse of a minor.
Two of the counts will be prosecuted in Columbia County. The remaining counts will be prosecuted in Union County.
01/29/09 - Guilty Plea and Sentencing
Donna Lou Sanders has pleaded guilty to five counts of permitting abuse of a minor.
Four counts were in Union County and one count was in Columbia County.
As a result of her guilty pleas, Sanders was sentenced to 10 years in prison on each count.
Reportedly under terms of her plea, Sanders will be eligible for parole after serving about eight years.

The 12 year old is in in one of my classes! Poor K poo!50 is harsh though b/c murderers get away with 2 years…

Goes to show things can get worse……Oh My Gosh……
12 and 13 year olds are not to blame in this situation. I know that it is sometimes difficult for teenagers/students to understand this. Regardless of who the girls are or how they conduct themselves, it is the responsibility of the teacher/adults/parents who are involved to teach morals and to act professional/motherly. The woman is obviously mentally ill. As an educator myself, I am wondering if the district has checked on her current students who were in her special education classes?????

its funny how she’s getting all the blame when the kids she was doing this for are just as guilty.
i go to the high school and juss moved here and everything but seriously, you people act like the kids didnt know what was going on when apparently they did or they wouldnt have been in the back of the car or in the hotel room.

This is crazy. I graduated from Magnolia School District. It blows my mind to have heard about this situation but people are crazy. You can’t be too shocked about anyway doing ANYTHING anymore. I don’t remember this woman from junior high clearly because I didn’t see her much around campus. Plus, what the hell was she married to Mr.Sanders for? She looks like a 65 year old witch!

noone said she was a killer sha allowed grown men to have sex with kids KIDS if youll allow that theres no telling what youll do and as far as people feeling sorry for her your issues are just as big as hers if she was crazy dont you think that someone would have noticed it before now this has been going on since september thats a long time and someone crazy couldn’t contain themselves for that long i feel any crime against kids is unforgivable but that’s just me
