Danny Brian Giacomo

Danny Brian Giacomo, 37, the former band director at Hilldale High School in Muskogee, Oklahoma today pleaded guilty in Muskogee County District Court to sexual assault charges filed in both Muskogee County and Custer County.

Giacomo pleaded guilty to the sexual assaults of two female students, one 15-years-old, the other 14-years-old.

Giacomo said that he molested the girls during school hours on school property, at times pulling them out of class to engage in sexual conduct.

Giacomo called his handling of his victims open and notorious saying that Hilldale’s lack of oversight allowed him to molest both students and that other students knew of the sexual activities and other teachers must have known.

Following his guilty pleas Giacomo was sentenced to six years in prison and 29 years on parole.
