Mr. Metroka is entitled to a presumption of innocence. He is accused of crimes, not convicted of crimes and until he has his day in court that presumption of innocence remains.
That Mr. Metroka chose a profession which entails close interaction with children AND that Mr. Metroka is accused of committing crimes against children means that his profession is relevant to news reports and discussions of the crimes of which he is accused.
A similar relevancy would exist if a taxi driver, bus driver, ship’s captain or airline pilot was arrested for drunk driving. Their profession would likely be reported also, as there is a possibility the alleged criminal conduct might also have taken place within the realm of their professional life.
This is why Mr. Metroka profession as a teacher is relevant when he is accused of sex crimes against children.

i think it is sad to stereotype Daniel as a teacher if the incidents were never held at the school. Yet, the media had nerves of labeling him as a teacher. It may be his personal incident during after school hours. It doesn;t mean he is a bad teacher because none was held at the school, period. He is still innocent until proven guilty. What if this doesn’t convince him to any allegations-we give him this reputatin for nothing. I disagree with how you stereotype a person as a teacher-look at the individual instead if nothing happened at the school. I am speaking on my behalf for the general concept.
