Dale Clinton Swank, 41, a former art teacher at Independence Charter Middle School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma has been arrested and charged with three counts of lewd acts with a child under 16 and one count of sexual battery.
Swank, who reportedly taught at the school for 9 years, came to the attention of authorities in March of this year when the first alleged victim came forward.
Once the investigation was underway, three additional alleged victims came forward, one of whom was a colleague of Swank.
The alleged incidents are said to have occurred between September 2002 and May 2004.
All of the alleged incidents are said to have taken place in either Swank’s art room or supply closet.
Police urge any other possible victims to contact authorities.

I have spent time reading this information and Anonymous for your information, I have been a victum. I have also worked with this gentleman and never, have I seen or felt ANY indication of this type of behavior. As for your comments, I believe you are bias and if you have or feel you have been a victum, then I suggest you seek out help for yourself rather than to put a finger on Mr. Swank or other writers. I would like to suggest that you also use your name, for surely with such strong opinions, you are not a timid person who has been so abused.
To all you young ladies who have enjoyed his teaching, friendship and respect that you have developed for him, do not let some mixed up people change that for you. There are few teachers that can really teach, let alone inspire greatness in a student. Keep your chin up and remember who you have always known him to be.
