The DA just doesn't seem to want to go to a jury trial...I can't imagine why if they have such an iron clad case against Mr. Been...isn't that just a little bit strange? There have been no new facts brought in, the girls still aren't sticking to the same story, but the DA is still pushing for a plea bargin. I think they have painted themselves into a corner with this case and now they don't know how to get out of it without admitting they were wrong. I would think if they had a strong case, this would have been over long ago. The DA is now being forced to go to trial by the defense. Hopefully there will be a resolution brought to this soon.
