Major Cullin Lumpkins (USMC Ret), senior instructor for the Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program at Round Rock High School, Round Rock, Texas has been charged with sexual assault of a child.

Major Lumpkins was arrested on Wednesday for an alleged incident that is said to have occurred off campus.
Lumpkins has reportedly been placed on administrative leave by the school system.
Few details of the allegations against Lumpkins are available at this time, however it appears that the alleged victim was not a student at the school.
Major Lumpkins, who reportedly holds a BA degree in Political Science from The Citadel, retired from the U.S. Marine Corps with 22 years of active service and has reportedly been associated with the JROTC program at Round Rock High School for 5 years.
Following his arrest on Wednesday, Lumpkins was being held in the Williamson County Jail in lieu of $60,000 bail.
