Crystal Marie Bashford Arrested

Crystal Marie Bashford, 21, a teacher at Palm Christian Academy in Port Charlotte, Florida has been arrested on allegations of having sex with a 14-year-old boy.

Bashford was arrested on one count of lewd or lascivious battery. It is alleged that Bashford had sex with the then 14-year-old boy once in November 2006 when she was 20-years-old. The alleged sexual activity had no relation to the Palm Christian Academy.

Reportedly the boy told police Bashford invited him over to stay the night and they were watching TV when she began talking about sex.

Following her arrest Bashford was released from the Sarasota County jail Tuesday morning on $2,500 bail.

    I think that was a messed up thing to do. Who knos how many others there were if she volunteered with teens. I would be investigating the place that she volunteered and see what they have to say about the whole situation.
