(05/02/08 - Initial BBT Report)

Crissy Torcella Hisey, 28, an English teacher at Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, California has been arrested on suspicion of oral copulation with a minor, sending harmful matter to a minor, and annoying or molesting a minor.

Hisey is alleged to have engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student for a period of several months.

Allegedly both Hisey and the student both admitted to investigators that they have had a sexual relationship. The student although not currently in Hisey’s class was her student in the past.

Reportedly, Hisey is on unpaid leave.

Following her arrest, bond was set in the amount of $25,000.

08/22/08 - Guilty Plea

Crissy Hisey has admitted having sex with an underage girl at her school and pleaded guilty to 10 counts of oral copulation.

As part of the reported plead deal, the court dismissed a charge of distribution or exhibition of lewd material to a minor and allowed Hisey to remain free on $25,000 bail pending sentencing on October 3rd.

Reportedly it is expected that Hisey will be sentenced to 120 days in jail.

11/13/08 - Sentencing

Crissy Torcella Hisey has been sentenced to three years probation.

Reportedly court records also indicate that she must also serve 118 days in the county jail, to be served on weekends.

Hisey is NOT required to register as a sex offender.

    Probation and doesn’t have to register as a sex offender? She certainly got the c%^t discount.

    She wasn’t that good of teacher in fact she sux at it, she was a good actess but not a teacher. A good teacher does not get involved in a sexual relationship with a student period. I am shocked that ’she pleaded guilty to 10 counts of oral copulation, and will only do 120 days in jail.
