I knew Mr Kelso in the 8th and 9th grade as my us history and avid teacher. we had a very close relationship and i never felt at all ill at ease with his behavior. he treated me like a friend as well as a student. he was very well liked by all of the students and talked of often. this is a shock to me but i refuse to judge him by this act. i will always remember him as that wonderful teacher and friend that made my time at granger a wonderful experience.

i noe this case has passed and its been a while, but i just wanted to say that i got to noe kelso in 8th grade and he was an awesome person. he always had his students’ interests at heart and was one of the most respected teachers at granger. its sad to noe that something like this happened. i was at home doing homework wen all of a sudden i got a phone call from my friend. she told me that she saw kelso on the news cuz he was being arrested. i didnt believe it and for three days straight i had to look on the news website to make sure i wasnt dreaming. everyone was shocked, even his colleagues at granger. everyone was disappointed in him, and most still are. he made the decision he made knowing it was wrong and now look wat happened. i had a lot of respect for kelso and he personally chose me to be editor-in-chief for his yearbook/journalism class. may God forgive him cuz not many people are willing to accept wat he did. i wish him luck even though he probably doesnt deserve it… at school, i hear people talking, but i still defend him cuz it was that girl’s fault too. hopefully someday evryone who knew him as the inspiring teacher he was will be able to realize that even though he was very loved by his students and colleagues, wat he did was still wrong.

Well this was a huge schocker to me. i was one of Mr. kelso first students at Granger he was my drama teacher and as most of his students have said he really did have a big impact. He was supportive and encourageing really someone too look up too. I personally never seem him cross a line with any student, but that doesnt mean it isn’t a possibility. If you read his letter he doesnt deny ever having a relationship with the young lady he simply says that she did nothing wrong but never states that he did nothing wrong. I dont know what happend no one but himself and the young lady really know the truth and even then there are three versions of the story his side, her side and truth. Who knows maybe to them it was a real relationship but even in that event it doesnt make it right. Im not saying that he do every sick twisted thing he is being charged for but at the same time he had to have done something wrong inorder to be charged and held at such high bail. I dont think he is a bad person everyone does make mistakes this is just one of things that if proven guilty you have to take what ever consequences come with the territory of a stupid selfish decision. All i have to say is read his letter read between the lines. My heart goes out to him, his family, and all the people involved.
