Connie Beth Klewer, 37, an eighth-grade science teacher at Lebanon Middle School in Lebanon, Virginia has reportedly been arrested on allegations of sending lewd pictures to a teenage boy.
Reportedly, Klewer is charged with using a communications device to solicit a minor, buying alcohol for a minor, taking indecent liberties with a child while in a supervisory relationship, abuse and neglect of a child while being responsible for the care of a child and possession of child pornography.
It is alleged that Klewer sent the photos via telephone and computer and that they were found on the boy’s cell phone July 9.
After being contacted by the boy and his mother, deputies obtained and executed a search warrant at Klewer’s home where they reportedly seized computers, cell phones and disposable cameras.
Investigators have declined to say whether Klewer once taught the boy but have indicated that the boy is younger than 15 years old.
Following her arrest, Klewer was reportedly being held without bond at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail.
