Christina Oliver, 24, a teacher at Ronald E. McNair High School in Stockton, California has, according to a KTXL TV report, been arrested on allegations she had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old male student.
Oliver was reportedly arrested on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including two counts of felony contact with a minor with the intent to commit a sexual offense and one misdemeanor count of annoying or molesting a child.
Oliver came to the attention of police by way of a tip from the parents of the alleged victim who told police they believed their son was sexually involved with a teacher.
Reportedly, Oliver and the boy allegedly communicated in person and by text messages and she was arrested in public near the victim’s home on Tuesday night.
Following her arrest Oliver was reportedly being held in lieu of $125,000 bail.
Oliver is scheduled for arraignment on Friday.
Police say the investigation is continuing and ask anyone with whom Oliver may have had inappropriate contact to call them at (209) 937-8377.
02/13/09 – Arraignment
Christina Oliver appeared in court today for arraignment.
Deputy District Attorney Kristine Reed who oversees the county’s child abuse and sex crimes unit told the court that in interviews with police, Oliver admitted to having a sexual relationship with the boy.
Oliver did not enter a plea at today’s hearing but her lawyer said that Oliver’s arrest was a “situational episode that is totally out of character.”
The prosecutor asked for a bail increase to almost $500,000. Instead the judge reduced Oliver’s bail from $125,000 to $50,000.
Her next court appearance is set for February 27th.
03/02/09 – Court Appearance
Christina Oliver made a court appearance on Friday, however she did not enter a plea at that time.
The hearing was continued until March 13th.
Oliver’s attorney has indicated that he advised Oliver to resume her life as normal while she is free on $50,000 bail and continue her studies toward becoming a school principal.
03/13/09 – Court Appearance
Christina Oliver has made another court appearance and has entered a not guilty plea.
Oliver, who allegedly admitted to investigators in February that she had sexual relations with a 16-year-old boy from her English class, is scheduled to be back in court on March 26th.
08/11/09 – Preliminary Hearing
Christina Oliver appeared in court Monday for a preliminary hearing at which the alleged victim testified that he had four late-night sexual encounters with Christina Oliver during a nine-day period last winter.
The boy testified that subsequently told his father that he didn’t want to go to school because he felt “weird and embarrassed” about having a sexual relationship with his teacher.
At the conclusion of the preliminary hearing, the judge ruled there was sufficient evidence presented against Christina Oliver and set arraignment for August 26.

Again this is just a random list in no particular order. I left our Pamela Turner and Debra Lafave, I always felt they were overrated. People made a big deal about them because they are blonde. Christina Oliver will not see a day in prison. She get probation like every pretty white girl.They will successfully argue that this is totally out of character.

Does anyone know what’s going on with Ms. Oliver? She is in my top 5 of cutest child molesters. The arrogance on this girl first she pleads guilty, and then she changes her story. She will get off with a slap on the wrist. She may lose her teaching license, big deal. You lose a job that pays twenty five thousand a year. That’s like losing your job at McDonalds, then the judge taking away your bigger flipping license. She will get five years in probation. She will get a better paying job as a car salesman or real estate. She will fit right in as a car salesman or realtor. They are a bunch of low-life, four-flushing, dirt-bags too.

Your job there is to teach, not to have sex with students. I don’t think statutory rape is ever cute or honorable, and I wouldn’t promote that to my son. Stay in a child’s place, and a child’s place is not between a grow woman’s legs, regardless of if you think you’re “man enough” for it or not. Half of these boys sleeping with these girls (and I will call them girls, because real women don’t sleep with kids) , still need permission to do almost everything. I fail to see the attraction in a totally dependent adolescent who is highly immature. Because that’s what most 16yr old boys, are.

Jay you just do not understand how these cases work.Her attorney will argue (successfully most likely)that she should not go to jail because she has lost her teaching license and can no longer become a principal.That somehow that is punishment enough.It used to be that the punishment fit the crime.Now the punishment depends on what kind of job you lost by committing the crime.
