Charles F. Little Jr, 58, a widely known retired Lexington, Kentucky music teacher has entered an Alford plea on three counts of sexual misconduct against three men who say he sexually abused them more than 20 years ago.

Little was originally charged with three felony counts of third-degree sodomy on accusations that he sexually abused the three boys when they were teens.
By entering into the plea deal with prosecutors Little is facing a penalty of six to 12 months in prison and prosecutors have recommended 6 months on each count. Under law the maximum the judge can sentence Little on a misdemeanor offense is 12 months. The judge also has discretion to sentence Little to probation only.
Formal sentencing is set for February 8th.
Little will NOT be required to register as a sex offender.
02/08/08 - Sentencing
Today Charles Little was sentenced to one year in jail, which was suspended, and two years of probation in the wake of his Alford plea on three counts of sexual misconduct.
