Chad Draper

Chad Vance Draper, 29, a physical education teacher and assistant football coach at Madison High School in Marshall, North Carolina has been arrested on allegations of showing pornographic cell phone video to a 17-year-old female student.

Allegedly Draper called the victim into his office and showed her approximately 15 seconds of explicit pornographic video on his cell phone.

Reportedly this is Draper’s first year as a teacher and he has been barred from the school campus.

Draper came to the attention of authorities by way of complaints from the girl and her mother.

Allegedly when Draper’s cell phone was seized by sheriff’s deputies a pornographic video clip was still on it.

Following his arrest Draper was released on unsecured bond with a court date set for January 31.

05/28/08 – More Charges, Another Arrest

On Tuesday Chad Draper was arrested and charged with four misdemeanor counts of disseminating harmful materials to minors.

Investigators say that the new charges resulted from “a lot of digging” for evidence. Reportedly the new counts are for four separate incidents, involving more than one student at Madison High School.

Reportedly Draper turned himself in after officers were unsuccessful in arresting him on the new charges and listed him as a fugitive.

Following his latest arrest Draper was released on $12,000 secured bond.

06/24/08 – Guilty Verdict

Today Chad Draper has been found guilty of disseminating pornography to a minor.

Draper was sentenced to 30 days in jail, a 120 day suspended jail sentence and 18 months probation.

Draper was also ordered to not have contact with minors or pornography, and he must wear an electronic tracking device during home arrest for six months.

    Sounds like Det. Boone has a personal vendetta against Coach Draper, since he “dug and dug” and had to convince the Magistrate to issue the warrant. It usually doesn’t take much effort to get a warrant, especially from an officer of the law.
