Tawni L. Wimberley, 29, a former computer/technology teacher at Flagstaff High School in Flagstaff, Arizona already indicted by a grand jury on one count of sexual conduct with a minor has been charged with two additional counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

The original count alleged a sexual encounter with a 17-year-old boy last summer.
The current charges allege a sexual encounter last fall with a 16-year-old boy, a former student.
It is also alleged that Wimberley had consensual sexual relationships with several male students, most of them legal adults.
In spring of 2007, Wimberley requested and received a leave of absence for the 2007/2008 school year.
10/01/08 - Guilty Plea
Tawni Wimberley has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
Wimberley faces up to 18 months in prison on each count but could receive probation under terms of the plea agreement.
10/30/08 - Sentencing
Tawni Wimberley has been sentenced to a suspended six month jail sentence, 100 hours of community service and supervised probation for three years.
Wimberley will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
