Francis Hajosy, 54, a technology teacher at Enfield High School in Enfield, Connecticut has reportedly been arrested on allegations of sexually assaulting a student.
Reportedly, court records indicate that Hajosy is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and second-degree breach of peace.
On Wednesday, a judge issued a protective order prohibiting Hajosy from initiating contact with the student.
Under the terms of the protective order Hajosy is allowed to be in the same building as the student as long as he works for the high school.
Following his arrest, Hajosy was reportedly freed on $5,000 bond.
It is alleged that Hajosy spanked a female student who was visiting his class. It is further alleged that Hajosy spanked the girl by striking her a total of four times.
Reportedly, Hajosy has been suspended with pay by the school system.

Joseph P. Voyt, 33, a science and technology teacher at Scranton High School in Scranton, Pennsylvania has reportedly been charged on allegations of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
Reportedly, Voyt was arraigned Friday on a single count of corruption of minors, a first-degree misdemeanor.
It is alleged that Voyt engaged in mutual oral sex with the teenage boy after they watched a movie and ate dinner together in November.
Voyt came to the attention of authorities when the Scranton School District alerted law enforcement to the allegations when a boy at the school told a faculty member that Mr. Voyt asked about his age and sexual orientation.
Following his arrest, Voyt was released on $25,000 unsecured bail and scheduled for a preliminary hearing Monday. If convicted he faces up to five years in prison.
Reportedly, Voyt was suspended by the school system in April when the allegations against him were first made.
07/20/10 – Joseph Voyt Waives Hearing
Reportedly, Joseph P. Voyt has waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
As a result all charges were sent to court for further action.
Voyt remains free on $25,000 unsecured bail.

John V. Buttura Jr., 54, a technology and shop teacher at Twinfield Union High School in Marshfield, Vermont has been arrested on allegations of having sex with a 16-year-old female student.
Vermont State Police say that Buttura is facing a felony charge of sexual exploitation of a minor.
It is alleged that Buttura engaged in a two-month sexual relationship with the student.
Buttura is scheduled to be arraigned on the charge on Wednesday.
Buttura has reportedly suspended with pay.
04/28/09 – Case Update
The allegations against John Buttura came to the attention of police last Saturday when the father of the alleged victim confronted Buttura and his daughter at the school. State Police patroling in the vicinity of the school and responded to a “potential altercation” between the girl’s father and Buttura.
After an initial investigation, State Police arrested Buttura on Sunday and he remained jailed until Monday in lieu of $10,000 bond.
It is alleged that Buttura admitted to police that he had the sexual contact with a student.

Christopher Bantz, 40, a teacher at Pomperaug High School in Southbury, Connecticut has reportedly been arrested on allegations of the sexual assault of a 16-year-old female student.
Reportedly, Bantz turned himself in to Southbury police after learning of a warrant for his arrest on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault.
Bantz came to the attention of police in March when complaints were raised about a technical education teacher having acted inappropriately with at least one student.
The investigation determined that Bantz had allegedly subjected the student, who is older than 16, to sexual contact. It is alleged that Bantz exchanged sexually explicit text messages and e-mailed a photo of himself in his underwear to the student.
Following his arrest, Bantz was released after posting $10,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 14th.
Reportedly, Banz has been placed on administrative leave by the school system.

Edward Heath Williamson, 33, a instructional technology facilitator and quarterback coach for the football team at Thomasville High School in Thomasville, North Carolina has reportedly been arrested on allegations of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student.
Reportedly, Williamson is charged with two counts of sexual offense with a student.
It is alleged that Williamson engaged in sexual intercourse with the student on two separate occasions while on school grounds.
Williamson came to the attention of Thomasville Police when they were contacted by the school’s resource officer notifying them that a teacher was allegedly involved in an inappropriate relationship with a female student.
Following his arrest, Williamson was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.
Williamson’s next court appearance is set for February 12th.
Reportedly Williamson has been placed on paid administrative leave by the school system.
05/11/10 – Sentencing
On April 30th, Edward Heath Williamson was found guilty of a sexual act between a teacher and a student.
As a result, Williamson will serve three months in Davidson County Jail to be followed by 36 months of supervised probation, including one year of intensive probation.
In addition, Williamson will be required to register as a sex offender for the next 30 years.

Steven Kennard Waddell, 42, a computer technology teacher at Parkland High School in Forsyth County, North Carolina has reportedly been arrested on allegations of sexual misconduct involving a female student.
Reportedly, Waddell is charged with a felony count of taking indecent liberties with a student and a misdemeanor count of sexual battery.
The alleged victim claims that Waddell touched her breast inappropriately Thursday. Reportedly the student reported the alleged incident to a school administrator who in turn called the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
Following his arrest, Waddell was being held in the Forsyth County Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing for Waddell was set for May 14th.
According to a news release from the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School system, Waddell began working for the school system in 1994 as a custodian at the Administrative Center and as a testing specialist before becoming a teacher,
School System Superintendent Dr. Donald Martin has been quoted as saying that Waddell had been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the Sheriff’s Department investigation.
