(09/09/07 – Initial BBT Report)

Guy Bubba Nall, 39, an assistant football coach as Enterprise High School, in Enterprise, Alabama and a former teacher at Trenton High School, in Trenton, Florida and at Chiefland High School, in Chiefland, Florida has been arrested on multiple child sex charges.

Nall was arrested Friday and was being held in the Levy County, Florida jail on a $175,000 bond.

Reportedly Nall worked at Trenton High School from 1998 until 2003, at Chiefland High School from 2003 to 2005 and at Enterprise High School from 2005 to the present.

Reportedly Nall has been placed on paid administrative by the Enterprise school system and has been released from jail on $175,000 bail.

The charges for which Nall was arrested are alleged to have occurred in Levy County between 2000 and 2006. Investigators do not believe that any of the alleged crimes took place at the school but are requesting any child that had an improper encounter with Nall to contact Levy County Investigator Lauree Allen at 352-486-5111 Extension: 303.

Update 10/04/07:

According to a report in the “Chiefland Citizen”, Guy Bubba Nall was arrested for incest in Enterprise, Alabama on September 25, according to Enterprise Police Department spokesman Capt. Mike Lolley.

Reportedly, bond was set at $15,000 and Nall was released on bond within a day.

Update 11/02/07:

On October 23, Guy Bubba Nall was indicted by a Coffee County grand jury on seven counts of incest.

Nall turned himself in a week later on October 30, and bonded out of jail on $15,000 per-count shortly thereafter.

The same victim who filed charges against Nall in Coffee County, Alabama also filed charges against him in Levy County, Florida.

The victim told Enterprise police that she and Nall engaged in sexual intercourse while she was visiting him in December 2006.

05/30/09 – Not Guilty In Florida

A Levy County, Florida jury found Bubba Nall not guilty on all charges Friday.

Nall still faces trial on similar charges, alleging the same victim, in Coffee County, Alabama.

That trial is expected to take place later this year.

09/11/09 – All Charges Dismissed in Alabama

All charges against Bubba Nall in Coffee County, Alabama have been dismissed.

Circuit Judge Jeff Kelley dismissed the charges on the recommendation of District Attorney Gary McAliley, who told the judge there was no medical or other evidence that corroborates the allegations.

DA McAliley said that the allegations in both states surfaced after Nall refused to buy his stepdaughter a Cadillac Escalade that she wanted.

Ronald Scott Sherman, 61, a former a former teacher at Dixie High school in St. George, Utah has been arrested on one count of forcible sexual abuse and four counts of sexual battery amid allegations that he sexually abused four of his students.

Sherman was placed on administrative leave this April after some students complained of inappropriate comments from Sherman. The school system undertook an investigation, interviewed students and allegations of inappropriate touching surfaced.

Sherman resigned from the school on May 24th.

Update 07/06/07:

Sherman has now been officially charged with five counts of sexual battery, a misdemeanor charge carrying a maximum of one year in jail on each count.

Prosecutors allege that Sherman either touched or grabbed the buttocks of the girls during class, rubbed himself against one girl’s thigh and asked two other girls to see their genitals, offering one of them $100.

The alleged crimes are said to have taken place between August 2006 and May 2007.

Sherman is scheduled for his first court appearance on Tuesday.

Ronald Sherman pleaded innocent to all charges during a court appearance yesterday.

09/01/09 – Ronald Sherman Arrested Again

Ronald Scott Sherman, now 63, has reportedly been arrested again, this time accused of the sexual assualt of a young family member.

It is alleged that this summer that Sherman inappropriately touched a young female family member while
at his Iron County cabin.

Reportedly, the girl told her parents of the alleged incident and the girl’s parents notified police.

As a result of the latest allegations, Sherman faces one count of first-degree felony for sexual abuse of a child and one class A misdemeanor for lewdness involving a child.

Sherman is still awaiting trial on the original charges.

Jennifer Leigh Rice, 31, a former contract teacher at McKinley Elementary in Tacoma, Washington has been arrested on allegations of child rape.

Rice was arrested Saturday on one count of second-degree kidnapping, five counts of first-degree child rape and four counts of first-degree child molestation in a case alleging a 10-year-old boy who was the Rice’s former student at McKinley Elementary as victim.

Allegedly Rice took the 10-year-old boy with her when she left a party around 3 a.m. headed for an Idaho amusement park when they stopped at a rest area in Ellensburg, napped and had sex.
