Cedrick Lamont Holmes, 31, a para-professional and the attendant for in-school suspension at Sweetwater High School in Sweetwater, Tennessee has been arrested and charged with one count of aggravated statutory rape of a 17-year-old girl and two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure.

Holmes is alleged to have had inappropriate sexual contact with three female students however investigators believe more students may have been targeted by Holmes, a newlywed whose wife is pregnant.

Investigators believe the statutory rape happened in Loudon County not in Monroe County where the other incidents are alleged to have occurred at the school.

Reportedly Holmes went in to the Sweetwater Police Department to allegations being made about him in the community. Detectives questioned him about the allegations, and he allegedly admitted to having sexual relations with a 17-year old Loudon County girl. During the discussion, Holmes allegedly also confessed in connection with sexually assaulting students at the Sweetwater High School.

Holmes who has been arraigned is being held in Loudon County on a $10,000 bond with a court date set for July 2nd. If he makes bond in Loudon County he will be taken to Monroe County.

Shane Flournoy, 32, a former dorm supervisor at the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas has been arrested and charged on allegations of having an improper relationship with a 15-year-old male student.

Flournoy came to the attention of authorities when he allegedly confessed to his minister that he had sexually abused a minor and that he wanted to turn himself in. The minister then reportedly contact police.

The student has allegedly told investigators that Fournoy repeatedly asked to see his penis during the fall 2007.

It is alleged that in October that during a visit by the boy to Flournoy’s apartment, Flournoy paid him $200 to show him his penis while Flournoy’s wife was asleep. It is further alleged that Flournoy inappropriately touched the student before the boy rejected his advances. Police say that Flournoy told them he would have had sex with the boy, had he agreed.

Flournoy also allegedly told police that the boy threatened to go to authorities if he was not given money. Flournoy said he paid the student about $1,000 for his silence.

Following his arrest Flournoy was fired by the school.

Austin Police say that Flournoy had inappropriate sexual contact with at least five boys between the ages of 13 and 16-years-old in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s with crimes taking place in the Houston and Harris County area. Police also allege that Flournoy admitted to these additional sex crimes.

He is being held in jail on $250,000 bond.

Jermell Montrice Combs, 27, a maintenance employee at Tahlequah Public Schools in Tahlequah, Oklahoma has been charged with the rape of a 16-year-old female student.

It is alleged that on or about February 19 that Combs had sex with the girl.

The girl told investigators that Combs took her into the boys’ bathroom of a school building and the two had sex. The girl also reportedly told investigators that she never asked Combs not to touch her or to stop what he was doing.

Reportedly, she reported the alleged sexual activity because she feared that she may have become pregnant.

Combs was initially charged with first-degree rape, however the charged was amended to second-degree rape.

Combs is set for a court appearance on May 5th.

Combs was placed on suspension upon his arrest and the school system was moving to terminate his employment.

William “George” Woodhouse, a custodian at Altus Intermediate School in Altus, Oklahoma has been arrested on allegations of lewd and indecent acts with a child.

Last week, a female student accused Woodhouse of inappropriate sexual conduct in the school’s hallway.

Police allege that Woodhouse stopped in the hallway and put his hand in the victim’s shirt.

It is further alleged that the victim told police that it wasn’t the first time Woodhouse had exhibited inappropriate behavior, saying that he had previously made lewd comments to her.

Following his arrest Woodhouse was jailed in lieu of $35,000 bond.

If convicted of the charge Woodhouse faces 3 to 25 years in prison and lifetime registry as a sex offender.

Richard Garret Hulbert, 56, a technology specialist at West Briar Middle School in Houston, Texas has been charged with two counts of possessing child pornography.

Cyber Crimes Unit investigators began investigating Hulbert after several cybertips indicated he was sharing sexually explicit images of children online.

Hulbert was arrested at his home and investigators seized his computers. The investigation is still underway in an effort to determine if the alleged criminal activity took place at the school.

If convicted Hulbert faces a 2 year to 10 year prison sentence on each count.
