Michael Zrncic, 32, a math teacher at Cedar Cliff High School, in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania has been charged on allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl who was a student at a karate studio which Zrncic operates with his wife.

Reportedly Zrncic faces multiple charges including indecent assault, corruption of minors, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and aggravated indecent assault.

It is alleged that Zrncic and the girl engaged in sexual activity several times at the karate studio during February and March of this year.

Zrncic came to the attention of authorities after the girl’s parents allegedly discovered instant messaging and e-mails between Zrncic and their daughter that were sexual in nature. The girl’s parents reportedly confronted Zrncic about the alleged relationship.

A West Shore School District spokeswoman stated that the school system was aware of the allegations and charges against Zrncic and that he has in been on administrative leave and not in the classroom since the start of the new school year.

Zrncic is free on $25,000 unsecured bond and has a preliminary hearing set for October 3rd.

10/03/08 - Michael Zrncic Ordered To Stand Trail

Today Michael Zrncic appeared in court for a preliminary hearting and was bound over for trial for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl at his karate school.

Zrncic remains free on $25,000 unsecured bond.

Michele Elizabeth Zulkowsky, 28, a teacher’s aide at North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania has been arrested on accusations of inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old male student.

It is alleged that there was inappropriate touching between Zulkowsky and the boy.

It is further alleged that the contact escalated from hand holding to fondling and rubbing each other’s hands, legs and thighs with much of the contact allegedly on school property and when other students were present.

Allegedly the boy told police Zulkowsky wanted to plan a summer meeting for the two to have sex.

Following her arrest Zulkowsky was arraigned before a district magistrate and bail was set at $25,000.

Zulkowsky has a preliminary hearing set for May 8th.

05/02/08 - Zulkowsky Blew Whistle On Herself

Michele Zulkowsky came to the attention of authorities by way of a report by herself.

Reportedly Zulkowsky became alarmed over her conduct with the alleged victim and wrote a report detailing her relationship with the boy.

Reportedly Zulkowsky feared her relationship with the boy would get her arrested. Sure enough, it did as she is charged with corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children.

Zulkowsky who resigned from the school is free on $25,000 bond.

09/18/08 - Arraignment Waived

On Wednesday, Michele Zulkowsky waived her arraignment on charges alleging that she had an inappropriate “intimate and emotional” relationship with a 16-year-old male student and possessed a knife on school property.

Zulkowsky entered a not guilty plea to all charges and remains free on $25,000 bond pending trial, the date for which has not yet been set.

Darin M. Strong, a physical education teacher and former girls volleyball coach at Ithaca High School, in Ithaca, New York is facing felony sex crime charges in Tyrone, Pa.

It is alleged that Strong used an Internet chat program and an online identity of “dstrong03″ to make sexual conversation with a citizen of Pennsylvania posing as a 13-year-old girl. It is further alleged that Strong sent sexual Webcam images of himself to that person.

The “citizen of Pennsylvania”, who belongs to an organization dedicated to educating parents and children about online predators, presented the photos and a record of the online conversation to police and police developed Strong’s identity and employment information via the screen name and contacted Ithaca, New York Police.

Following his arrest in Ithica, N.Y., Strong was extradited to Tyrone, Pennsylvania and charged with felony offenses of attempting to disseminate sexually explicit materials to minors, attempted unlawful contact with a minor with the purpose of committing a sexual offense, criminal use of a communication facility and indecent exposure, a misdemeanor.

Following his arraignment in Tyrone Town Court Strong was released on his own recognizance.

Ithaca City School Superintendent Judith Pastel said Strong is still employed by the district but said she could not disclose his employment status.

09/10/08 - Case Moving To County Court

The charge of criminal attempt of indecent exposure against Darin Strong which was filed in Tyrone Town Court has been dropped.

The remaining three charges are being sent to Blair County Court.

Strong is scheduled for arraignment in Blair County Court on October 17th.

Jerome Bennett III, 46, a technology and seventh and eighth-grade science teacher at the St. Monica School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania has been indicted on federal child pornography charges.

Federal agents seized two laptop computers, two external hard drivers and two flash drives allegedly containing images of child pornography Thursday afternoon.

If convicted, Bennett could face up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000.

In a statement posted on the school web site and sent to parents, school officials indicated that Bennett’s contract would not be renewed and that he would not be returning to the school. A school/parish spokesperson also indicated that administrators had requested the FBI examine school computers.

Joshua Uhrich, 30, a special education teacher at South Philadelphia High School, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been arrested and charged on allegations of inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old girl.

Uhrich has been charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault and other charges.

It is alleged that Uhrich was sexually involved with the girl whom he met on MySpace for a period of two weeks and came to the attention of police when the girl told her sister who in turn told her mother and the mother contacted police.

At the start of the investigation Uhrich was placed on paid suspension. With the filing of charges his status has been changed to suspended without pay and actions are reportedly being taken to fire him.

02/07/08 - Uhrich Freed On Bond

On Wednesday Joshua Uhrich posted $8,000 bail and was released from jail.

Uhrich is currently charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, interfering with the custody of a minor, indecent assault and corrupting the morals of a minor.

05/08/08 - Guilty Plea

Joshua Uhrich has pleaded guilty to charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, interference with the custody of a child and corrupting the morals of a minor.

Uhrich faces between 10 and 20 years in prison owing to a mandatory sentencing law pertaining to adults convicted of having oral or anal sex with a person under 16 years of age.

Uhrich was permitted to remain free on bond pending his formal sentencing in August.

At sentencing, Uhrich’s sex offender classification will be established under Megan’s Law.

08/27/08 - Sentencing

Joshua Uhrich has been sentenced to spend 10 to 20 years in prison.

Uhrich will also be required to undergo sex offender treatment and register as a sex offender. He was not deemed a sexually violent predator.

Uhrich who had been free on bail was taken into custody following the sentencing.
