Ashley Herre-Bagwell, 29, a former 10th-grade English teacher at Monessen High School in Monessen, Pennsylvania has reportedly been arrested on allegations that she had sexual contact with at least three female students.
Reportedly, Herre-Bagwell is charged with contact/communication with a minor-sexual offenses, criminal attempt, criminal use of a communication facility, and corruption of minors.
Herre-Bagwell came to the attention of authorities after the mother of one of the alleged victims noticed the many phone calls and text messages from online records, and contacted the teacher before notifying school officials. Reportedly, the woman told the teacher to stop contacting her daughter or she would contact school administrators, which she subsequently did.
The criminal complaint alleges that Herre-Bagwell in October started texting how pretty the girl was and that the two should engage in sexual contact. It is further alleged that Herre-Bagwell told another alleged victim that she was in love with her.
Some of the sexual encounters are alleged to have happened inside of a locked classroom during school hours
Following her arrest, Herre-Bagwell posted $7,500 bail and was released with a preliminary hearing on the charges scheduled for Friday.
Reportedly, Herre-Bagwell, who had been employed with the school system for six years, was fired in June.

Robert Mark Fickenscher, 57, a chemistry teacher at Madison High School, in Madison, Ohio has reportedly been arrested on allegations of attempting to solicit sex from what he believed to be a 13-year-old girl.
Fickenscher was arrested during a teaching symposium at Harvey High School on a warrant from the Pennsylvania Attorney General Child Predator Unit.
It is alleged that Fickenscher and the undercover agent posting as the girl met in a chat room and were speaking between April and July and that Fickenscher and “the girl” planned to meet in the Erie area.
Fickenscher faces extradition to Pennsylvania to face a total of five charges, including attempted unlawful conduct with a minor and criminal use of a communication facility.
Fickenscher has reportedly been placed on paid administrative leave by the school system.

Heather Lynne Zeo, 36, a math teacher at North Penn High School in Lansdale Pennsylvania has reportedly been arrested on allegations of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
Zeo was reportedly charged today with endangering the welfare of a child and corruption of minors.
It is alleged that Zeo began the relationship with the boy in April. It is also alleged that Zeo was having sexual conversations and contact with the student both on and off school grounds and that these conversation extended to phone calls and internet chats.
It is further alleged that Zeo had an inappropriate relationship over the Internet with another male student and that the second relationship involved sexually explicit Internet chats and several invitations from Zeo for the student to visit her classroom when she was alone so they could have sex.
According to the District Attorney’s Office, when confronted Zeo admitted to having a sexual relationship with only one of the students.
Zeo has reportedly been suspended by the school system and is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon.
She is reportedly married and the mother of three and describes herself as a Mennonite with conservative political views.

Zeo made an initial court appearance this afternoon and was reportedly released on $25,000 bail, with a court date set for June 2nd.

Carlos L. Ortega, 45, a former Spanish teacher and girls tennis coach at The Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania has reportedly been arrested on allegations that he made inappropriate sexual advances toward a 17-year-old female student.
Reportedly, Ortega is charged with endangering the welfare of children, sexual contact/communication with a minor, corruption of minors and indecent assault.
It is alleged that in January that Ortega began sending the girl sexually charged e-mails and continued making unwanted and improper advances over the course of two months. It is further alleged that Ortega at one point suggested having sex with her and would supply alcohol to celebrate her acceptance to college.
Reportedly, Ortega came to the attention of school administrators and authorities after he allegedly made suggestive comments to the girl and tried to kiss her after class in February. Reportedly the alleged victim ran from the room crying and told a friend, who told a school official. As a result, Ortega was ordered off campus and was forced to resign two days later.
The parents of the student reported the alleged incidents to police in late March.

Gerald Koch, 49, former girls’ soccer coach at Blue Ridge High School in New Milford, Pennsylvania has reportedly been arrested on federal charges of persuading a minor to cross a state line to have sex and tampering with a witness or victim.
Koch appeared before a federal magistrate on Wednesday and was ordered held in the Broome County Jail for a bail hearing set for Friday in federal court in Binghamton, New York.
It is alleged that Koch, who lives in Brackney, Pennsylvania and who worked in Binghamton, New York sent hundreds of sexually explicit text messages to a 16-year-old girl that he coached and with whom he allegedly had a sexual relationship.
It is further alleged that Koch set up secret meetings to have sex with the girl, including at least once in a school building between soccer games.
Koch came to the attention of school officials in January when the girl’s father became suspicious and confiscated his daughter’s cell phone and allegedly discovered late night calls between his daughter and Koch.
In February, the girl’s father against confiscated and examined her cell phone and also one Koch alleged provided her. The girl’s father reportedly then turned the cell phones over to police.
Reportedly, investigators have since downloaded hundreds of sexually explicit text messages between the two with the texts filling more than 50 pages of court documents and providing details of the alleged sexual relationship and efforts on the part of Koch to get the girl to lie to cover it up.

Theresa Edna Smith, 42, a teacher’s aide at Kittanning High School in Kittanning, Pennsylvania has reportedly been arrested on allegations of she had sex multiple times with a 17-year-old male student.
Reportedly, Smith was arrested Friday morning on a charge of corruption of minors. She appeared before District Judge James Owen for arraignment and was released on her own recognizance.
According to a State Police spokesperson, it is alleged that the sex happened on three days, not in school, but in a car parked on back roads while Smith was giving the boy a ride home.
It is further alleged that a school bus full of students saw the two having sex on one of the back roads.
A preliminary hearing for Theresa Smith is scheduled for Wednesday.
