Brian Biermann, 35, an English teacher at Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio has reportedly been indicted by a grand jury on allegations that he sexually assaulted a then 15-year-old female student in January 2004.
Biermann was indicted by the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury on three counts of rape, three counts of sexual battery and one count of kidnapping.
Biermann came to the attention of Lakewood Police in October, 2008 by way of a complaint from the alleged victim. Police say that the alleged sexual contact between Biermann and the girl occurred at school and after classes.
Assistant Cuyahoga County prosecutor David Zimmerman said that the victim’s statement alleges that this was a forciful rape and that she was raped several different ways.

Reportedly the alleged victim came forward after five years because she was returning to the area and worried that her sister would be attending Lakewood High School and might be subjected to a similar attack.
Biermann is scheduled for arraignment on April 27th.
Reportedly, Biermann has been on paid leave since October 13th when the allegations surfaced.
