Zachary George, 26, a former history and social studies teacher and assistant football coach at Chouteau High School in Chouteau, Oklahoma has reportedly been arrested on allegations of the sexual assault of a 17-year-old female student.

Reportedly, George has been charged with child sexual abuse.

It is alleged that George touched the girl’s breasts and vaginal area and had her touch him.

It is further alleged that he later asked her for oral sex.

Reportedly, the incidents are alleged to have taken place on August 26th and 27th, shortly after the beginning of the new school year, which was George’s first with the Chouteau School District.

On August 28, the school district received a formal complaint against George and the school superintendent suspended George that same day. Reportedly, George immediately tendered his resignation. Rather than accept George’s resignation, the school board voted to terminate George at its next scheduled meeting.

George’s next court appearance is scheduled for October 15th.

Following his arrest and booking, George was released on $10,000 bond.

Prior to beginning work in Chouteau, George reportedly worked as a teacher and coach in the Kellyville, Oklahoma and Vinita, Oklahoma school districts.

Douglas Glenn Woolery, 39, a choir, music and stagecraft teacher at Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma has been charged with sexual battery of a 17-year-old male student.

It is alleged that Woolery twice fondled the boy during music conventions over an eight day period early in 2008.

Court documents indicate the boy told investigators that the first incident occurred on January 10, 2008, during an All State jazz convention in Oklahoma City.

Allegedly Woolery and the boy shared a hotel room and the boy told police he awoke during the night to find Woolery fondling and performing oral sex upon him.

The second allegation indicates that the boy told investigators that a week later during the All State jazz convention in Tulsa, that Woolery straddled him in bed and fondled him a second time while in a downtown Tulsa hotel.

Allegedly Doug Woolery admitted the incidents to investigators.

Woolery, who was charged early Tuesday, turned himself in to police on Tuesday evening and was subsequently released from the Tulsa County Jail on $2,000 bond within two hours of being booked.

Reportedly Woolery was suspended by the school system when the allegations first surfaced.

03/27/09 – Woolery Bound Over For Trial

On Thursday, Tulsa County Special Judge David Youll ordered Doug Woolery bound over for trial on a felony charge of sexual battery.

Reportedly Woollery’s resignation from the Owasso School System was accepted by the school board on March 9th.

On March 10th, Woolery was charged in Oklahoma County with forcible sodomy and sexual battery based on allegations by the same student regarding events which are alleged to have occurred in Oklahoma City.

09/08/09 – Guilty Plea and Sentencing in Tulsa County

Douglas Woolery has reportedly pleaded guilty to the sexual battery of a student who was 17-years-old at the time of the crime.

Under the terms of the plea deal between prosecutors and Woolery, he was sentenced to five years in prison.

Woolery still faces charges of forcible sodomy and sexual battery in Oklahoma County involving accusations by the same student.

09/23/09 – Guilty Plea and Sentencing in Oklahoma County

On Tuesday, Douglas Woolery pleaded guilty to charges of forcible sodomy and sexual battery.

The judge sentenced Doug Woolery, 40, to a 4 1/2-year prison sentence on a count of forcible sodomy plus a consecutive five-year suspended sentence for sexual battery.

Woolery will also be required to serve a five-year probation once released from prison and under Oklahoma law will be required to register as a sex offender.

Woolery’s prison terms from Oklahoma and Tulsa County will run concurrently. The forcible sodomy count in Oklahoma County requires Woolery to serve at least eight-five percent of the term before becoming eligible for parole.

John Charles Gisler, 41, a science teacher at Whitney Middle School in Tulsa, Oklahoma has been arrested on allegations of the sexual abuse of a minor.

John Gisler is reportedly charged with lewd molestation, forcible sodomy and second-degree rape.

The alleged victim is reportedly a boy under 16-years-old, and the alleged offense is said to have taken place in January, 2006.

Reportedly Gisler came into contact with the victim while serving as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma. A spokesperson for that organization says that Gisler is no longer associated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma. The statement also says that Big Brothers Big Sisters will work with authorities to inform any parents associated with the organization whose children may have been in contact with Gisler.

Gisler has been employed at Whitney Middle School since August 2005. Gisler worked previously at Clyde Boyd Junior High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

According to a Tulsa Public School news release, administrators and campus police officials are conducting an internal investigation of Gisler and the district will determine the appropriate action regarding Gisler’s future employment pending the internal investigation and law enforcement proceedings.

Following his arrest and booking, John Gisler was released on bond totaling $150,000.

07/08/09 – Additional Information

Reportedly, the alleged victim was 14-years-old when the sexual assaults began. It is being reported that the sexual assaults allegedly ended last summer.

Gisler came to the attention of police, when the alleged victim sought therapy.

The alleged victim was enrolled in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma program.

A Tulsa Public Schools spokesperson has said that Gisler has been suspended and the spokesperson indicated that she expects Gisler to be “let go”.

07/09/09 – Case Update

According to a police affidavit detectives recorded a mid-June phone conversation between the boy and Gisler in which Gisler made admissions of guilt and apologized to the victim for hurting him sexually.

The affidavit also stats that Gisler threatened suicide and begged the victim not to tell anyone. Allegedly Gisler told the boy that if he disclosed the abuse he would lose his job and go to jail for a long time.

It is further alleged that the boy told police that Gisler initially paid him to masturbate and then the abuse evolved into oral and anal sex.

07/15/09 – Prosecutors Add Child Pornography Charge

Tulsa County prosecutors today added a child pornography count against John Gisler, alleging that he possessed images of child pornography on a computer found at his home.

Gisler, free on $150,000 bond on the earlier charges, was re-arrested and was reportedly being held on $100,000 additional bond on the child pornography count.

08/11/09 – School Board Fires Gisler

On Monday, the Tulsa school board voted to fire John Gisler.

Gisler remains jailed in lieu of $100,000 bond on the charge alleging possession of child pornography.

08/26/09 – Preliminary Hearing

A preliminary hearing was began today for John Gisler and the alleged victim testified that John Gisler engaged in sexual conduct with him over a period of years.

The now 17-year-old testified that Gisler paid him to masturbate by putting $1 to $10 in a jar for each act of masturbation and that this occurred well over 50 times, starting before the boy reached puberty.

The alleged victim further testified that they watched pornography together and engaged in oral and anal sex.

The preliminary hearing will continue tomorrow.

Gisler remains in the Tulsa Jail.

08/27/09 – Preliminary Hearing Continued To Tuesday

Today was supposed to be day two of the preliminary hearing for John Gisler however at the start of Thursday’s court session, defense lawyer Brian Martin informed the judge that a battery that operated Gisler’s hearing implant was dead.

Martin told the judge that Gisler can not hear without the aide of his hearing device and the judge continued the preliminary hearing to Tuesday.

09/04/09 – Gisler Bound Over For Trial – One Charge Added

At the conclusion of the preliminary hearing for John Gisler, he was facing one more charge than at the beginning of his preliminary hearing.

The latest charge is one count of lewd molestation for allegedly showing adult porn to a minor.

The judge bound Gisler over for trial on three counts of child sexual abuse and one count each of possessing child pornography and lewd molestation.

Gisler remains jailed in lieu of $250,000 bond and will be arraigned on Tuesday.
