Felix Rodriguez, 42, a senior maintenance employee at Landis School in Vineland, New Jersey has reportedly been arrested on allegations of the sexual abuse of an 11-year-old girl.
Reportedly, Rodriguez was arrested on charges of aggravated sexual assault, tampering with a witness and endangering the welfare of a child.
It is alleged that Rodriguez had sexual contact with the girl inside the school.
Reportedly, the girl, who is under the supervision of the state Division of Youth and Family Services, was not a student at the school.
Rodriguez came to the attention of police by way of referral by the Division of Youth and Family Services. Rodriquez was taken in by police for questioning on Monday. After the interview with police he was charged.
Reportedly, Rodriguez was being held in Cumberland County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.

Sarah E. Blessing, 27, the girls swim coach at Bishop George Ahr High School, a Catholic school in Edison, New Jersey has reportedly been arrested on allegations of a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student.
Blessing, who in addition to coaching the high school swim team also works as a fifth-grade teacher in the public school system in Scotch Plains, has been charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a girl, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce Kaplan.
Following her arrest, Blessing was being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick with bail set at $150,000, with no 10 percent and conditioned upon Blessing having no contact with the victim if she makes bail.
Reportedly, the Diocese of Metuchen has fired Blessing from her coaching position and she has been placed on administrative leave with pay from her fifth-grade position in the public school system.
Blessing came to the attention of police by the Diocese of Metuchen.
03/05/10 – Sarah Blessing Indicted
Reportedly, Sarah E. Blessing has been indicted on the charges of sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, endangering the welfare of a child and witness tampering.
If convicted on the most serious charge sexual assault Blessing could face up to 10 years in prison.
Reportedly, Blessing remains free on $150,000 bond.

James I. Clancy, 35, an English teacher at Iselin Middle School in Woodbridge, New Jersey has reportedly been arrested on allegations of having sex with a 14-year-old female student.
Reportedly, Clancy was arrested on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
It is alleged that Clancy had sexual intercourse with the girl three years ago.
Clancy, who has reportedly taught at the school for seven years, has been suspended with pay.
04/27/10 – Guilty Plea
Reportedly, James I. Clancy has pleaded guilty to criminal sexual contact and official misconduct in Superior Court, New Brunswick.
Clancy, originally charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, was facing up to 20 years in prison if convicted at trial.
Under the terms of the plea deal between Clancy and prosecutors, he can be sentenced to up to 364 days in Middlesex County Adult Correction Center as part of his probationary term.
Formal sentencing is set for July 26th.
Clancy will have to register as a Megan’s Law sex offender under the terms of the plea deal.
07/27/10 – Sentencing
James I. Clancy has been sentenced to 364 days in jail.
In addition, Clancy must serve five years probation and register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law.
Clancy is also prohibited from public employment in New Jersey.

Scott Van Hoven, 43, a drama teacher at John F. Kennedy High School in Paterson, New Jersey has reportedly been arrested and charged on allegations of having sexual relations with a 16-year-old female student.
Reportedly, Van Hoven has been charged with thee counts of sexual assault, three counts of criminal sexual contact and two counts of child endangerment.
It is alleged that he had two sexual encounters with the girl at his apartment on May 19th and on May 23rd.
Scott Van Hoven came to the attention of police earlier this week when the alleged victim came forward with the allegations.
At an initial court appearance the judge set bail at $200,000 with no 10 percent option, and ordered Van Hoven to have no contact with the alleged victim or with children under 16.
Reportedly, Van Hoven is being held at the Morris County jail in lieu of bond.
A spokesperson for the school system said the district is “terminating” Van Hoven’s employment because of the arrest.

Matthew Smith, 27, a physical education teacher at Fords Middle School in Fords, New Jersey has reportedly admitted to molesting a 14-year old girl.
Reportedly, Smith pleaded guilty in Superior Court, New Brunswick to charges of criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to the prosecutor, Smith admitted he improperly touched the girl in June 2009 while they were in a vehicle.
Under the terms of the plea agreement, Middlesex County Assistant Prosecutor Nicole Albert will recommend that Smith receive a prison sentence of 364 days at the Middlesex County jail in North Brunswick, and be placed on probation for five years.
Smith will also be required to relinquish his teaching certificate and register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law.

Anthony Iazzetta, 26, a math teacher and assistant wrestling coach at Edison High School in Edison, New Jersey has reportedly been arrested and charged on allegations of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old female student.
Reportedly Iazzetta is charged with one count each of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
It is alleged that Iazzetta had sexual relations with the girl in Fords on Sunday.
Reportedly, school officials heard of the alleged incident and contacted police on Monday.
Following his arrest, Izaaetta was being held in the Middlesex County jail in lieu of $75,000 bail, with no ten-percent option.
If convicted on both charges, Iazzetta could face up to 20 years in prison.
07/09/10 Sentencing
Anthony Iazzetta, who pleaded guilty on May 14 to a count of child abuse, was sentenced today to probation for three years.
Iazzetta was banned from teaching and was prohibited from having any contact with the victim.
According to the prosecutor, when pleading guilty, Iazzetta admitted he had sexual relations with the girl.
Nicole Albert, assistant Middlesex County prosecutor who struck the plea deal with Iazzetta that called for probation, said she wanted to spare the victim a trial and that both the girl and her family approved of the plea agreement.
