Melinda Dennehy, 41, an English teacher at Londonderry High School in Londonderry, New Hampshire has reportedly been arrested on allegations that she sent four nude photographs of herself to a 15-year-old male student.

Reportedly, Dennehy turned herself in to Londonderry police and was arrested and charged with one count of indecent exposure.

Dennehy came to the attention of police after staff at the school learned from students that inappropriate pictures of a female teacher were being distributed throughout the high school by the students.

It is alleged that when police interviewed the boy he indicated that Dennehy sent him text messages about sexual acts she wanted to perform on him. The student also allegedly claimed that she kissed him twice.

Police documents indicate that the pictures were sent two months ago and that investigators obtained a copy of one of the photos and co-workers identified Dennehy.

Reportedly, following her arrest Dennehy was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bond and has been ordered to stay away from school grounds.

Dennehy, who has reportedly been placed on administrative leave by the school system, will be arraigned in Derry District Court April 30.

Matthew Brooks, 31, a former science teacher at Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, New Hampshire has reportedly been arrested and charged on allegations of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old female student.

Brooks, who was charged with felonious sexual assault of the alleged victim, was already facing federal child pornography charges which were filed earlier this month.

The sexual assault is alleged to have occurred in April at Brooks’ rental property in Pittsburg.

Bond for Brooks on the latest charges was set at $50,000 cash or surety, along with home confinement.

Brooks was already on has been wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet while out on bail on the federal child pornography charges.

Brooks is no longer an employee of the school system. Reportedly his contract was not renewed at the conclusion of the last school year.

12/30/09 – Grand Jury Indictment

Reportedly, Matthew Brooks was indicted by a Coös Grand Jury on December 21st on two counts of felonious sexual assault, two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and one count of theft by unauthorized taking.

Brooks is alleged to have fondled and engaged in sexual intercourse and oral sex with a 14-year-old girl. It is further alleged that Brooks stole an Acer Laptop valued at $1,000 from SAU #7, between April 1, 2009 and August 31, 2009.

Quentin E. McKenney, 60, a school bus driver in Portsmouth, New Hampshire who drove bus number P3 for the First Student Bus Company has reportedly been arrested on allegations that he attempted to solicit sex from a 13-year-old female Portsmouth Middle School student during a November 5th bus ride home from school.

Reportedly, McKenney was arrested on a felony count of criminal solicitation and following his arrest was released on $25,000 personal recognizance bail. While on bail, McKenney is prohibited from being near children under the age of 18, and is required to stay at least 300 feet from any playground.

It is alleged that McKenney propositioned the girl during a brief verbal exchange on the bus.

Reportedly, the girl was the last to get off the bus on the day of the alleged incident and disclosed the allegation to a teacher the following school day. The school then contacted police and began an investigation of its own.

Investigators have indicated that the girl had called McKenney from her cell phone at least 10 times prior to the alleged incident on November 5th.

McKenney is scheduled to be arraigned on December 14 in Portsmouth District Court.
