Rob Williams, 42, a P.E. teacher and basketball coach at Lanier County High School in Lakeland, Georgia has been has been charged with having sexual relations with two student, both of which are reportedly under 16-years-old.

Williams has been charged with two counts of custodial sexual assault.

Reportedly Williams has been on administrative leave since the alleged incidents were reported last month.

Williams turned himself in Tuesday afternoon and was, according to media reports, released on bond.

Reportedly Williams employment status with the school system will be taken up by the school board at its next meeting on October 13.

Stephen Chromik, 25, a former teacher and soccer coach at Metamora High School in Metamora, Illinois has been arrested and charged with criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

It is alleged that Chromik had sex with a student between the ages of 14 to 16 in May of this year.

Following his arrest Chromik was being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Reportedly Chromik’s case will be referred to a grand jury.

Chromik no longer works for the school, reportedly having resigned in July and moved from the area.

At the time of his arrest, Chromik was on probation for a felony aggravated assault case from Tennessee, a case which was pled down from a sexual battery charge. As a result of the Tennessee case Chromik was reportedly placed on five years’ probation beginning in 2005 and his probation was transferred to Peoria County, Illinois.

A preliminary hearing for Chromik has been set for October 2nd.

If convicted, Chromik could face between 4 and 20 years in prison.

William Boulanger, 58, a social studies teacher at Southington High School, in Southington Connecticut has been charged with the sexual assault of a minor.

Boulanger was arrested on charges of fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and second-degree unlawful restraint. The charges are the result of an alleged incident in July.

Police say that the alleged victim is not a student at the school.

Boulanger turned himself in to police earlier this month upon learning of a warrant issued for his arrest.

Boulanger is free on $10,000 bond

He was placed on administrative leave with pay prior to the start of the current school year.

Reportedly details of the case have been sealed by the court.

James Albert Hirleman, 48, a technology and math teacher at Buljan Middle School in Roseville, California has been arrested on allegations of the continuous sexual abuse of a former student over several years.

Hirleman was arrested Wednesday night on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor for crimes allegedly committed in 2001 and 2006.

According to the Rocklin Police Department news release:

The arrest was as a result of information developed from a previous arrest of another person by Rocklin Police and was made through the cooperation of several law enforcement agencies including Roseville PD, the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, the Placer County Sheriff’s Department and Placer County’s Special Investigation Unit.

Following his arrest Hirleman was booked into Placer County Jail on $100,000 bail.

Reportedly Hirleman has been placed on unpaid administrative leave by the school system.

09/19/08 - Formal Charges and Not Guilty Plea

Today, James Hirleman was formally charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious acts on a child under age 14; six counts of oral copulation of a person under 16 yrs old; four counts of lewd acts against someone under 15 and two acts of sodomy on a person under age 18.

Hirleman entered not guilty pleas to all charges.

It is being alleged that between 1999 and 2005 that Hirleman performed oral sex, sodomy, lewd and lascvious behavior repeatedly about 20 times upon the alleged victim who was between 13 and 18 years old at the time.

Reportedly the criminal complain reads, “Under surveillance, James Hirleman made concessions to (victim about) performing oral sex from Hirleman to (victim).”

Bail for Hirleman has been set at $350,000 and he has been ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim, including email and text messaging for three years.

Jason W. Stalnaker, a former teacher at Capitol Baptist School in Dover, Delaware has been arrested on 295 charges linked to the sexual abuse of a student for over 2 years.

The sexual abuse is alleged to have occurred during 2002 and 2003 and the alleged victim was a female student of Stalnaker and 15-years-old.

Bond for Stalnaker has been set at $1.3 million.

Police say there may be other victims and ask anyone with information to call them at 302-736-7103.

09/12/08 - Guilty Plea and Sentencing

Jason Stalnaker has pleaded guilty to a single count of second-degree rape and two counts of fourth-degree rape.

Stalnaker was sentenced to 17 years in prison to be followed by 2 years of work release and 4 years of probation.

Stalnaker must serve 10 years in prison before he can be considered for release.

At the hearing the victim told the court, “I don’t like to be touched, not even hugged. I live in fear every day that he will kill me and my family if he’s ever free again”.

Regarding Stalnaker’s crimes the judge said, “From my review of this case this really has been about as despicable behavior as can be imagined”.

Stalnaker begged for forgiveness and his father begged for leniency for his son.
