Timothy Ryan Dossey, 26, an assistant girls’ basketball coach at Arcata High School in Arcata California has reportedly been arrested on allegations of an improper relationship with a now 15-year-old female student.

Reportedly, Dossey was arrested on suspicion of child molestation and sending harmful materials to seduce a minor.

Dossey came to the attention of Arcata Police Department officers after high school officials received an anonymous tip that Dossey had an inappropriate relationship with a girl who recently turned 15.

According to a press release issued by the university, Dossey is also a senior at Humboldt State University majoring in liberal studies elementary education.

At his arraignment, Dossey entered pleas of not guilty. His bail was set at $75,000.

James Andre Thaddies, an assistant coach for football and track at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Florida has reportedly been arrested on allegations of groping and biting two female students.

Reportedly, Thaddies was arrested by school police on two counts of misdemeanor battery on March 3, given a court date and released.

Thaddies came to the attention of school police when one female student and track team member alleged that Thaddies touched her buttocks and that two other students witnessed the alleged incident. Another female student who was also a member of the track team came forward alleging that Thaddies bit her on her neck over her clothing.

The two incidents are alleged to have occurred in late December and early February.

According to a school district spokesperson, Thaddies has been assigned a position working for the school district in an administrative role and will not be permitted on school grounds until the investigation is completed.

Police say that Thaddies was “suspected of sexually inappropriate conduct with a female student” at Osseo High School in Minnesota prior to his hiring by Palm Beach County and that court records indicate that Thaddies was convicted on a misdemeanor count of furnishing alcohol to a minor but was not charged with any crimes that were sexual in nature.

Reportedly, the Minnesota school district suspended Thaddies and he resigned shortly thereafter.

Dennis Isbell, 39, a former speech teacher and basketball coach at Coldspring-Oakhurst High School in Coldspring, Texas has reportedly been arrested on allegations of having an improper relationship with a female student.

Reportedly, a criminal complaint against Isbell alleges that he had inappropriately touched a female student’s genitals, with the alleged incident occurring in San Jacinto County. There Isbell is reportedly charged with engaging in an inappropriate relationship between educator and student and indecency with a child

Reportedly, after Isbell was released from custody on the initial charges, he was arrested in Montgomery County on accusations stemming from the same case and was reportedly charged with an inappropriate relationship between and educator and a student.

Isbell came to the attention of Coldspring-Oakhurst Consolidated ISD investigators in the fall of last year at which time an internal investigation was started and the school system placed Isbell on administrative leave. In February, Isbell resigned during the police investigation and on Tuesday morning he was arrested.

The San Jacinto County District Attorney’s Office has indicated that their investigation continues and more charges may be filed as investigators think there may be more victims.

Following his arrest, Isbell was reportedly being held in the Montgomery County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
