Jack Russell Hubbard, 60, a former science teacher at Beaumont Junior High School in Fayette County, Kentucky has been arrested in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and charged with third-degree sodomy of a then 15-year-old male student and third-degree rape of a 15-year-old female student.

The alleged sexual abuse began in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s when Hubbard was a teacher at Beaumont Junior High School and the alleged victims were students there.

Also charged in the case is former arts teacher Roberta Walter, then known as Roberta Blackwell, who was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee and who is charged with third-degree sodomy and third-degree rape of a then 15-year-old female student.

The rape charges against Hubbard allege the rape of the 15-year-old female victim. The sodomy charges stem from alleged sexual abuse of Thomas “Beau” Goodman who told police he was sodomized by Hubbard 30 times between ages 14 and 15.

Kirk Chism, 39, a teacher and coach at Trimble County High School in Bedford, Kentucky has been arrested on allegations of a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student.

Reportedly, Chism of Madison, Indiana is charged with 3 counts of child seduction in Jefferson County, Indiana and is under investigation for alleged sex crimes that had occurred in Trimble County, Kentucky.

Chism, who had his initial hearing in Jefferson Superior Court in Madison earlier today, is reportedly free on bail.

In April, investigators from the Kentucky State Police Post in Campbellsburg made contact with Indiana State Police investigators regarding regarding Chism and alleged sex crimes that had occurred in Trimble County, Kentucky. During their investigation they discovered that Chism was believed to have committed similar crimes with the same victim in Jefferson County, Indiana.

Chism, who was previously an assistant coach, was designated as the head football coach at Trimbel County High School earlier this year.

Jason Collins-Baker, 31, a teacher and boys’ track coach at Randall K. Cooper High School in Union, Kentucky has reportedly been arrested on allegations of having sex with a student.

Collins-Baker is reportedly charged with two counts of first degree sexual abuse on allegations of a long term sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student who recently graduated.

The sheriff’s department said it appears none of the sexual activity beyond discreet communications took place on school grounds.

Reportedly, Collins-Baker teaches English, history and science and is also a special education teacher. On the school web site, he is listed as a special education teacher.

Collins-Baker was arrested at his home today and was reportedly being held in the Boone County Detention Center to await a bond hearing.
