Chad T. Burnett, 28, a teacher and coach at Burley High School in Burley, Idaho has reportedly been arrested on allegations of sexual misconduct with a 17-year-old female student.

Reportedly, Burnett was charged Tuesday with three felony counts of sexual battery of a minor 16 to 17 years old and one count of statutory rape.

Allegedly the girl admitted to her mother having a sexual relationship with Burnett from July to November, and that the two engaged in kissing, sexual touching and once engaged in sexual intercourse.

It is further alleged that Burnett and the student sometimes sent as many as 250 text messages to each other a day, some of which included explicit photos of both the alleged victim and Burnett.

Burnett has a preliminary hearing set for December 11th.

01/20/10 – More Charges Filed

An amended criminal complaint has been filed charging Chad T. Burnett, 28, with two more felony counts of sexual battery of a minor 16 to 17 years old, felony statutory rape and felony of use of a child in sexually exploitative material or possession of sexually exploitative material.

Burnett is scheduled to be arraigned on the new charges Friday and will attend a preliminary hearing on the first set of charges at the same time.

Burnett is reportedly free on $25,000 bond.

William Price Hamilton, 31, an English teacher at American Falls High School in American Falls, Idaho has reportedly been charged on allegations of sexually abusing a female former student.

Reportedly, Hamilton is charged with two counts of sexual battery of a minor and was reportedly placed on house arrest, wearing an ankle monitor.

Hamilton came to the attention of authorities when the alleged victim, a former student came forward to authorities.

Reportedly, the victim, now an adult, told investigators that she was 17-years-old and a junior when the alleged relationship began and that the relationship lasted for two years until she graduated in 2009.

Reportedly, Police documents reveal that during the investiation that Hamilton admitted to having sex with her more than 50 times throughout their alleged two-year relationship.

Hamilton’s next court appearance is set for February 9th.

Reportedly, Hamilton has been placed on paid administrative leave by the school system.

Darin J. DeBolt, 26, a gym teacher and cheerleader coach at Lakeside High School in Plummer, Idaho has reportedly been arrested on allegations of sexually abusing a minor.

Reportedly, DeBolt appeared in court Wednesday on one count of sexual battery of a minor child ages 16 or 17 and one count of sexual intercourse with a minor child.

Following his arrest at the school on Tuesday, DeBolt, a Spokane, WA resident, was being held at the Benewah County Jail on $50,000 bail.

DeBolt, who has worked at the school for five years, has reportedly been placed on administrative leave by the school system.

DeBolt was on the cheer squad at Eastern Washington University and is a coach with All Star Cheer and Dance in Spokane Valley, according to the group’s Web site.

Guilty

Ashley Jo Beach, 37, a math and science teacher at Meridian Middle School in Meridian, Idaho has reportedly been arrested on allegations of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy who is a former student.

Beach was booked into the Ada County jail on the charge of lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16.

Beach came to the attention of police when residents in the area of Cherry Lane and Vineyards in Meridian called police saying that they saw something suspicious about 9:30 p.m.

When police responded to the call of suspicious activity it is alleged that they found Beach and the 13-year-old boy laying on the ground between some bushes and a fence. It is further alleged that when they questioned Beach and the boy that there were inconsistencies in their stories and as a result detectives were called in to investigate.

Detectives say that the boy was a student of Beach’s last year and that the two have been involved in a sexual relationship since April.

Beach is being held in the Ada County Jail and is set to be arraigned this afternoon.

10/02/09 – Grand Jury Indictment

An Ada County grand jury has indicted Ashley J. Beach on three counts of felony lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16.

The grand jury found there was enough evidence of a crime to establish probable cause and send the case directly to District Court for trial.

Beach is reportedly free on a $300,000 bond.

10/20/09 – Guilty Plea

Ashley Jo Beach pleaded guilty in an Ada County courtroom today to one count of lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16.

Two other counts of lewd conduct were dropped as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Sentencing is set for December 22nd.

10/27/09 – Husband of Ashley Beach Arrested

Shawn Beach, husband of Ashley Beach and a former Ada county sheriff’s employee is arrested accused of video voyeurism.

It is alleged that Shawn Beach sent photos of female jail inmates to his wife’s phone.

The images were found on Ashley Beach’s cell phone during the course of the investigation of her activities. Investigators allege that they traced those images back to Shawn Beach’s cell phone.

If convicted on the video voyeurism count, Shawn Beach faces a maximum of five years in prison.

Shawn Beach’s employment with the Ada County Sheriff’s Office has reportedly been terminated.

12/29/09 – Sentencing

District Judge Ronald Wilper on Tuesday sentenced Ashley Beach to 20 years in prison.

In sentencing Beach, Judge Wilper told her, “You are going to be a mother who won’t know her children other than visiting days. On the other hand…you are still alive.”

Beach won’t be able to ask for parole until she serves at least four years of her prison sentence.
