Randall Ralston, 39, of Anderson Township, Ohio who according to media reports coached at Glen Este High School, Mariemont High School and St. Ursula as well as coaching an Amateur Athletic Union summer select basketball team has pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual conduct and three counts of sexual battery.

Ralston was indicted in October on one count of rape and 13 counts of unlawful sexual conduct involving two 15-year-old girls he coached in a summer league. If convicted of those counts Ralston faced up to 75 years in prison.

In a deal with prosecutors, Ralston pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual conduct involving the two girls and three counts of sexual battery involving a young woman who was 16 when Ralston began having sex with her in 2006.

As a result of his guilty plea, Ralston faces up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $60,000 when sentenced on January 22nd.

Ralston will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Karl Lemart Wells II, 27, a former assistant teacher for exceptional education and former assistant girls’ basketball coach at Western Guilford High School in in Greensboro, North Carolina has been arrested and charged with indecent liberties with a student.

Reportedly Wells came to the attention of authorities after a female student’s mother found a text message on the girl’s phone and notified school officials.

Arrest warrants indicate that Wells did attempt indecent liberties with the student but do not elaborate on the allegation.

Reportedly Wells resigned from his position shortly after the mother notified the school and the girl is no longer a student at Western Guilford High School.

Wells turned himself in to authorities and was released on a written promise to appear.

Gustavo Bordenabe, 44, a math teacher and girl’s soccer coach at Hudson County Prep high school in Jersey City, New Jersey has been arrested on charges he had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl.

It is alleged that Bordenabe sexually assaulted the girl multiple times over the course of more than a year.

Bordenabe is charged with sexual assault, child endangerment and criminal sexual contact.

Following his arrest on Friday, Bordenabe was reportedly being held at the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in lieu of bail, listed in one report as $200,000 and in another as $500,000.

Bordenabe’s arrest is reportedly the result of an investigation by the Point Pleasant Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
