James Gumpper, 26, a fifth-grade history teacher at Bedford-Stuyvesant Collegiate Charter School in Brooklyn, New York has reportedly been arrested and charged on allegations of sexually abusing an 11-year-old female student.
It is alleged that Gumpper groped the girl in the hallway of the school with the alleged incidents reportedly occurring in December and March.
Reportedly, Gumpper came to the attention of authorities in May when the girl’s therapist contacted the Administration for Children’s Services directly.

Aaron Montoya, 30, the former the athletic director at All Sports Academy, a charter school centered on sports, in Tucson, Arizona has reportedly been arrested on allegations of engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct with a 14-year old student over the course of several months.
Reportedly, Montoya has been is being charged with three counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
Montoya came to the attention of police when they got a call from his wife around 1:30 a.m. Friday to report Montoya’s alleged inappropriate relationship with the student.
Moses Montoya, the owner of All Sports Academy and father of Aaron Montoya, has indicated that his son’s employment with the school has been terminated effective immediately.

Linda L. Trabucco, 44, an English teacher and assistant principal at Collegiate Academy, a charter school in Littleton, Colorado has been arrested on allegations of carrying on a sexual relationship with a male student throughout his high school years.
Trabucco was arrested Wednesday night on a charge of sexual assault on a child in a position of trust.
Trabucco came to the attention of authorities on August 13th when the alleged victim, now 21 came forward.
The man allegedly told investigators that the relationship began when he was a freshman at Collegiate Academy and turned sexual in 2003 and continued until his graduation.
Allegations have been made that a second teen aged male may have had a sexual relationship with Trabucco during that same timeframe.
Investigators say they have no information indicating Trabucco has been involved with recent students of the school.
Trabucco has reportedly be placed on paid administrative leave.
Following her arrest, Trabucco was reportedly being held in the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
04/27/10 – Guilty Plea and Sentencing
Linda Lewis Trabucco, who in February pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust, has been sentenced.
Trabucco was sentenced to five years to life of intensive supervised probation.
As a condition of her probation, Trabucco must serve five years in prison.

James “Jamie” Christopher Taylor, 38. a business and computer teacher at Calhoun Falls Charter School in Calhoun Falls, South Carolina has reportedly been arrested on allegations of a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female student.
Reportedly, Taylor is charged with lewd acts on a minor and criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
It is alleged that that Taylor kissed and touched the girl and had sexual intercourse with her in a wooded area near the Calhoun Falls Charter School on March 20.
Taylor came to the attention of police when the girl’s parents became suspicious and concerned about their child’s relationship with Taylor. This after the girl went missing on March 20 and after her parents filed a police report, Taylor allegedly brought her home that night.
The father of the alleged victim has said he’s known Taylor his whole life and confronted him after his daughter denied any relationship and that Taylor denied any relationship.
Reportedly, at an initial court appearence, the judge ordered Taylor held without bond in the Abbeville County Detention Center.
The school has placed Taylor on administrative leave.

Jose Antonio Tirado, Jr, 25, a teacher at Boston Avenue Charter School in DeLand, Florida has reportedly been arrested on allegations of sexual battery of a child under 12 who is reportedly not a student at the school.
Reportedly the alleged victim, a boy younger than 12, was spending the night at Tirado’s home last Thursday, planning on an outing with Tirado the next day. The boy called his parents early Friday morning saying he was not feeling well and that he wanted to go home.
The boy returned home and later in the day the boy allegedly told his parents that Tirado had him sleep in bed with him, where he kissed the boy and performed a sex act on him while they were watching a movie.
It is further alleged that the boy told investigators he told Tirado to stop, but that the man held him down with one hand and continued the assault.
Following his arrest, Tirado was reportedly being held without bond at the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach.
Investigators are concerned there could be additional victims since Tirado ran a summer day camp at his home in Deltona. Anyone with information about Tirado or other victims is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office at (386) 736-5979.
03/18/10 – Guilty Verdict and Life Sentence
On Wednesday, the jury in the trial of Jose Antonio Tirado found him guilty of sexual battery of a child under 12-years-old.
The jury deliberated for two hours and 11 minutes before finding Tirado guilty of performing oral sex on an 11-year-old boy.
Following on the guilty verdict, Tirado was sentenced to life in prison and declared a sexual predator.

Leon Dale Bodle, 42, a former teacher at Sugar Valley Rural Charter School in Loganton, Pennsylvania and who substituted at Montoursville and Muncy school districts has been found guilty on 37 of 41 counts related to child sex charges.
Bodle faced numerous charges including criminal solicitation to commit involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, sending obscene and other sexual materials to a minor, sexual abuse of children, criminal use of a computer and corruption of a minor.
The charges involved alleged incidents between August 2007 to August 2008 in which it was alleged that Bodle used his position as a teacher and authority figure to chat explicitly with girls, tried to convince girls to go with him to amusement parks and to wear bikinis. It was further alleged that Bodle downloaded graphic violence and child pornography on computers to which he had access.
As sheriff’s deputies led a handcuffed Bodle out of court and to Lycoming County Prison he reportedly shouted, “There will be an appeal.”.
Bodle is to undergo an assessment to determine if he is a sexually violent predator.
Formal sentencing is set for June 24th.
