Gregory Fritzke, 43, vice principal at Ross Glen Elementary School in Medicine Hat, AB, Canada has been charged with accessing and distributing child pornography.

The arrest of an American in 2006 was led to the arrest of others involved in allegedly trading child pornography.
The arrest of Fritzke comes after a three-month investigation by the Southern Alberta Integrated Child Exploitation Team and police in Medicine Hat. Police say they learned about Fritzke after a file was forwarded from the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre.
Reportedly Frizke, who was arrested Monday, has been on administrative leave from the school for two months.
06/12/09 – Not Guilty Plea, More Charges
Gregory Fritzke has reportedly entered a plea of not guilty to sexual assault of a female student.
Fritzke is also charged with accessing and possessing child pornography as well as breaching a condition of his release. He is scheduled to return to court on July 23 for those charges, as well as to set a trial date for the sex charge.

Wayne Clark Thompson, 69, a former counselor, teacher and vice-principal at College Street Public School in Smithville, Ontario, Canada has been arrested on allegations of inappropriate sexual contact with grade-school boys between 1973 and 1976.
Thompson is reportedly charged with four counts of indecent assault on a male.
Police say investigators learned other children may have had knowledge of the alleged assaults and therefore police are seeking info from anyone who has information about this matter.

Jared Eszczuk, 44, a former fifth and sixth-grade teacher at St. Matthew Catholic School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault in court Tuesday.

Eszczuk had been facing over a dozen counts alleging the sexual assault of five girls who were grade 6 students when the offenses were alleged to have occurred during the 2006-07 school year.
In exchange for the single guilty plea, Crown prosecutor Robin Fiander withdrew 13 other sex-related charges against Eszczuk.
As part of the plea deal, Eszczuk was given conditional discharge with one year probation and a list of things he must follow during that time, which includes 75 hours of community service, no contact with the complainants, and he must undergo counselling, if ordered by his probation officer.
