Carrie Ann Bishop Arrested

Carrie Ann Bishop, 33, of Chesapeake, VA a third year Spanish teacher and cheerleading coach at King’s Fork High School in Suffolk, VA has been arrested on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor for a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.

The illicit sexual activity is alleged to have occurred at Bishop’s home between August and October of 2006.

Bishop was reportedly placed on administrative leave on May 11th and as of Wednesday was according to a school spokesperson no longer employed by the school.

Bishop came to the attention of authorities the result of an as yet unidentified adult contacting the school administration.

Bishop turned herself in Thursday evening after becoming aware of the charge and an arrest warrant being issued for her.
