Brock M. Felton, 32, former band teacher at Izard County Consolidated School in Brockwell, Arkansas has been arrested and charged with multiple felony counts related to sexual indecency with a child; sexual indecency with a child; sexual assault in the 2nd degree and voyeurism.
In total Felton has been charged with 28 felonies alleging 22 different victims ranging in age from 14 to 18-years-old.
Many of the allegations center on allegations of Fenton exposing himself, asking boys to expose themselves and showing boys pornography.
Some the the alleged incidents are said to have taken place at the school and others at Fenton’s residence.
Following his arrest Fenton was released on $50,000 bond.
Fenton has resigned from the school system.
He is the second Izard County Consolidated School band teacher to be charged with a sexually oriented offense. Last year Stacy Lynn Tucker was caught up in an internet sting in which an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old girl was allegedly solicited for sex. Tucker was indicted by a grand jury in Little Rock on one count of child pornography.

06/19/08 – Trial Date Set
A trial date has been set for Brock Felton.
A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for October 20th, with the trial set for October 21st or 24th.
Felton remains free on $50,000 bond
11/12/08 – New Trial Date Set
The trial of Frock Felton has been reset to January 5th through January 9th.
A pre-trial hearing is set for November 19th.
01/05/09 – Trial To Start Today
The jury trial for Brock M. Felton, accused of exposing himself to students, will start today in an Izard County, Arkansas court room.
The trial is expected to last all week.
01/09/09 – Guilty On 16 Counts
The Batesville Daily Guard is reporting that Brock Felton has been found guilty on 16 counts, including 12 counts of sexual indecency with a child and four counts of second-degree sexual assault.
Reportedly Felton was found not guilty on five counts.
While the jury was deliberating the sentence Felton reportedly passed out in the courtroom and an ambulance was called to take him from the courtroom to the hospital.
The sentencing phase of the trial is set to continue Saturday morning.
01/10/09 – The Sentence
The jury which yesterday convicted Brock Felton on 12 counts of sexual indecency and four counts of sexual assault today sentenced him to six months in prison on each count with the sentences to run concurrently and fined him $180,000.
Reportedly Felton was held in the Izard County Jail after sentencing.
03/18/09 – State Revokes Teaching License
A state education board permanently revoked the teaching license of Brock M. Felton.

Good grief, two band teachers in the same school district molesting kids? I’m sure they’ve checked communications between them and others in the school district. Hopefully they did, as there may be more than just the two of them preying on the schoolchildren.
good thing I said unconfirmed reports. you all know how small towns go. But I sure do think that only six months is a terrible injustice! These kids have to live with this nightmare for the rest of their lives, and he serves six months. I do feel for his family, as well as all the victims and their families. I also feel for a system that lets a man go free in six months after doing these horrible things.
My heart goes out to the family of Brock Felton, as well as the victims and their families. It took a lot of courage for these students to come forward and stop the abuse. I hope they can find a way to move forward with their lives and not be scarred for life. Please pray for everyone that is involved in this situation, I know I am.

Does anyone know what student placement agency this creep hosted students from? I haven’t been able to find the name of the agency anywhere!!! Help! Just to let you know: this is not an isolated incident. Many predators have gained access to their victims courtesy of the student exchange industry. I am sorry that you were assaulted by this jerk. I pray you and your parents go to the police with this information. It is very important to locate all the victims because it shows how far he spread his evil, and will add some years to his jail term.
I went to ICC elementry,middle,and high school back from 1992 till when I graduated in 2000. I moved away asap after I finished school and I am not believing what Im hearing and reading what is going on in the school that I went to! I loved and adored ALL of my teachers and would of never thought in a million years that any of my teachers would of layed a hand on me! If I lived there now I would snatch my kids out of that school system so fast it would spin all there heads! I am embarrased for that whole school now!

Wow. I didnt know how many people he had done this to. A long time before he got in trouble a friend went around school telling everybody that Mr. Felton was a petafile. Everybody thought that he was lying. I did too. A couple days after all the roomers settled down during my band class, I went into his office. I was doing some late math homework when he looked at me and started asking me all kinds of weird questions like “You got a bone bone?” or “Have you ever had sex before?” Weird things. I simpily answered with more questions. He then asked me to let him see my… Parts. I told him no. A couple days later I was in his office during another band class on his computer. He came into the office, then came up behind me and grab’d my croch area. I told him not to do that. Then he would get to were he would grab at my stomach. I always told him to stop but he never would. I didn’t want to go and tell anybody but I grew tired of what he would do. I finally quit going around him. I am glad he is gone now. I am a 13 year old boy that was sexually assaulted by Brock Felton and I know there is a petafile or two still hanging around Izard County Cons. Middle and High School. The State needs to tighten up its security.
