I went to school with Shelly and she would NEVER do this to a child. She has children of her own and think about what they are going through. Kids are evil nowadays and they dont care about any thing but themselves. I think this could happen to anyone at any time. So dont be to quick to judge your picture may be up here one day too and you will want some support from your friends. So just step back for a moment and think if this were you would you want people that you dont know saying terrible things about you. Think not. Just give her a break, your not the judge.

I graduated high school with Shelly and I can tell you that this is not in her character. She is innocent until proven guilty. I work in the school system and kids now are not the same breed that they were when we were younger. They don’t fear anything. I wouldn’t dare lie to anyone. We need to not judge her until she is found guilty. We need to keep Shelly, her kids, parents, and husband in our prayers.

I thought that someone was innocent until proven guilty. This woman was an excellent teacher and good parent. People automatically judged her without hearing the whole story. I think people should consider the sourch. She did not get a slap on the wrist, she can no longer teach, her children are suffering terrible treatment from the school district and its teachers - to me that is not a slap on the wrist. I think the whole thing is terribel but I think it is even worse for people to judge her guilty until they know the whole story.

So…apparently she is just going to get a slap on the wrist. Wasn’t the arraignment suppose to be held in May. What happened? She’s still walking the streets with no punishment.

well you know what kids lie and who is to say that this boy is not lying because he could have gotten mad at her and this is a way to get her back. It is so easy for people to just believe anything that is bad and forget things that are good. Well you would want someone to stand beside you if you were accused of doing something like this. And dont think for one moment this could never happen to you. Yes I think some teachers do take advantage of their students but there are some great teachers out there. And unless you know all the facts then dont comment. Know the whole story not just what you think is the truth. Dont you are noone to judge people for what you think should happen, only one person can judge and will know the whole truth. So unless you have anything that is the truth to say then dont make a comment. Have a nice life.

Well she’s a female teacher. They always get a slap on the wrist.

I don’t know what is more revolting — what she’s done or that the school district continues to pay her! I’d be livid if those were my tax dollars.
