Brandy Reynolds Sought
Brandy Reynolds, 25, of Fremont, Nebraska is being sought by police on an arrest warrant alleging first-degree sexual assault of a then 15-year-old boy who was a student at Omaha Baptist Academy in Fremont, where Reynolds taught.
She is accused of having several sexual encounters with the boy between December 2004 and May 2006. Police say that the the sexual activity between Reynolds and the boy occurred in Reynolds’ apartment and one other nonresidential location.
Pastor Ken Largent of the church said that Reynolds was an elementary teacher at the school from 2004 to 2006 and that she did not teach there this past academic year as she left the school on her own at the end of the 2006 school year.

Wow… Judge Samson threw the book at this lady even after the plea deal verbally was that there would be no jail time. Fremont is a very politically connected city and the prosecution got to the judge big time behind the scenes. Brandy has no prior record, had no money to defend herself, admitted she did wrong and tried to make things right by getting counsel from her Pastor, by not taking the case to trail, assumed the plea deal would be followed. Judge Samson has let lots of others in his court room off with probation for crimes of equal or higher severity - even a rape case. But this lady didn’t have the right political connections in Fremont and will sit in a prison for up to 8 years. Anyone that knows Brandy will confirm she is no serious pedifile - which is what the probation officer stated after giving her a 30 minute quiz on paper. That statement was about the only comment and testimony Judge Samson permitted at sentencing. The boy she had an affair with was a long time family friend not just a student at this school. Brandy pleaded out to avoid this family and others from the pain of testifying at a trial. It is just so sad to see someone admit their wrong, try to make it right and then have a corrupt political judicial system hit you below the belt.
