Bowie Ibarra, 34, a former theater arts teacher at Lehman High School in Kyle, Texas has reportedly been arrested on allegations that he engaged in phone sex with a female student.
Ibarra turned himself in and was arrested Friday on a charge of having an improper relationship between an educator and a student.
Ibarra came to the attention of authorities when the school’s resource officer notified them of the alleged improper relationship. Detectives viewed a statement by the victim that she was having an inappropriate relationship with Ibarra, who was one of her teachers.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for Ibarra’s residence and during a search allegedly discovered a letter from the student to Ibarra which allegedly stated, “I love you. I always have. I always will even though I know it’s wrong”.
It is alleged that the girl later told detectives that she had been in contact with Ibarra through text messaging and cell phone calls from October 31, 2008 to the first part of January 2009 and that she and Ibarra had had “phone sex” at least three times.
When detectives examined the girl’s cell phone records it is alleged that they found Ibarra’s phone number appeared 1,190 times.
Ibarra reportedly resigned from the school when the investigation began.

ThirdEye doesn’t matter in relation to this case. He is not the subject, and his opinions are incredible. ThirdEye doesn’t know the facts, and yet despite posting on several offender’s pages here, he ALWAYS blames the victim. But his posts should not be given any credence to, since he is basing his opinions on wrong information, wherever he is getting it from. It certainly isn’t based on any fact, since I’m privy to the actual people involved and the events leading up to this case.
Bowie Ibarra made several bad choices in life, not just the one that led him here. He will suffer the consequences of his actions. His victim has moved on in her own life, and hopefully she will make good choices in hers, despite Ibarra’s negative influence.
