(08/18/08 – Initial BBT Report)
Barry Sacks, 49, a former coach at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in Rolling Hills Estates, California has been arrested and charged with child molestation.

It is alleged that Sacks inappropriately touched nine current or former female athletes at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, where he was a walk-on coach.
It is alleged that some of the inappropriate touching occurred on school grounds and some of the acts occurred away from campus.
In addition, some of the allegations date back several years and the alleged victims are now adults.
Reportedly Sacks was fired by the school in June of this year.
Following his arrest, Sacks was released on $150,000 bond.
His arraignment is scheduled for August 27th.
Guilty Plea and Sentencing
On Monday Barry Sacks pleaded guilty to two counts of child molestation.
Sacks was sentenced, if you can call it that, to 60 days in jail and Sacks will have the option of serving his sentence in a city jail instead of a county facility.
In addition to his brief jail sentence, Sacks will have to serve 30 days of community service and will be on probation for five years.
Sacks was ordered to stay away from the nine victims, and is not allowed to be alone with minors.
Sacks will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
